I played drums from 13 years old because my Italian grandpop loved music and wanted each grandkid to play something so he got me these Japanese knock-off white pearl drums and man they were the best - I drove my dad crazy playing to “House Party” and everything else on this album til the needle wore deep grooves in the record. Yes indeed J Geils was THE band of my high-school years and I was a prep school kid too and had the most beautiful girlfriend … I was lucky enough to be with her for over 40 years before she passed … and we both never forgot this band. Thanks RUclips for bringing back happy memories to an old man!

These guys were the best band live. I saw them at the Spectrum in Phila 4 times. Great Times.
