You can do casual gaming , like for 30 minutes to an hour . Then you need a break to avoid heating.

Camera is best, battery life is shit. On my trip, It used to die pretty soon and I had to rely on my wife's phone.

If you're not in a hurry, the Pixel 8a is launching soon and will be a better value for money overall for the long term usage and longer software support. Otherwise the Pixel 7a is not a bad choice and lots of issues are resolved, but it's too pricey without offers currently.

I think 8 a hits more than 65k
7a on a big billion day will cost you less than 30k if you can wait and 8a will launch next month and it will be from 40 to 50 k max.
Most of the network issue was solved by the update

Sure, Restart your phone, First update if not done already, also update Google play system updates and update all your apps.
You can check if any app is creating any issue , identify and uninstall that app, also try to run the diagnosis in battery Settings. See if any of these resolve your issue else let me know.

You can wait for the launch of the Pixel 8a next month, It has a bigger battery and the price will be close to the Pixel 7.Also Pixel 8a will support software updates for the next 7 years.

I purchased my pixel 7 refurbished from Amazon for about $270. I've had some battery issues over 5g (I think the latest update might have fixed it, but I haven't been back to work since the update where 5G is my primary internet). I have had no heating issues

Battery drains fast after update
I have used it for almost 25 days now and haven't faced any battery issues. I would like to suggest you to run a diagnosis in the battery settings and also try to identify if any app is causing this issue. Let me know , I can try to help you accordingly.
