I used to this walk once every three months in the 1970's and am due for knee replacement surgery due to over use from Kensington park gardens to Marble Arch, speaker's corner. Brings back memories but do not miss it and very happily settled in Melbourne, Australia. Looks cleaner than I remember. Walk on the main road ( Bayswater road) used to be the norm.
I used to walk this way from Kensington Gardens Square to Notting Hill Station on my way to North Acton for work in 2005 until I got a bike and took a cheaper shortcut.
My word! I spent 10 years working in Queensway when it was a fashionable area for rich and wealthy Arabs. In fact, it was quite popular with high end trading when Whitely’s was a department store to be reckoned with as well. My, how the mighty fall. Still, a lovely video.
