The automatic door has worked well through the winter so far. No problems during that last cold snap. I have not changed the batteries as of yet. The only thing you may have to look out for is debris at the bottom of the door which can clog the track a bit. We just keep an eye on it. It has been a great investment. Closes about 1/2 hour after sunset and opens as soon as there is enough light. I like the convenience for sure. I don't know how well it keeps large predators out as the coop is inside the fence. Hope that helps.
This is the worst automatic door on the market (Run-Chicken). Their support is criminal. Save your money. Or be ready to buy a new one inside a year. There are much better options with superior support .P.S they pay people to give positive reviews.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the T50 Coop Door. So far our experience has been great. We have not changed the batteries as of yet. Always opens and closes as advertised. We bought it and were not paid for our opinion or review of the unit. Anyway, thanks for watching.
We bought ours 2-3 years ago and it has always worked like a champ. Very reliable and safe. Only issue is that you can't use cheap batteries, you have to buy brand name like Duracell.
Automation, making our lives easier! I like it!
Good vid dude very informative
I have the T50 and love it!
Nice lookin Chicken Coop you got there! hope the door doesnt burn through the batteries!
We are in Alberta as well and are curious how this worked out for you in the winter. Any feedback would be helpful.

After seeing your table saw I’ll be headed to the woods to sit on a stump and try to reconsider my life decisions.
LOL I run a cabinet shop so I have alot of larger wood working equipment. Thanks for watching.
