    Thanks for this video, Paul. Before I was able to buy some of my Kali equipment, I had my sticks and staffs made at Home Depot. I'd buy metallic conduits and have them cut them down to the sizes I needed for Escrima Sticks and buy 5 foot steel conduits to substitute as Bo Staffs. Very inexpensive and durable alternatives to use until one can go out and buy more training equipment. I appreciate all of your videos, Brother, for it was you with whom I started my Kali adventure. I look forward to seeing a great deal more of your material.

    Where can I find for sell a rattan can that approaches 1 pound in weight and is ~1"-1 1/8" in diameter? I have one now that is made from oak and it feels really good, but I want one in rattan. The rattan cane I have now is too light at 0.6 pounds and 7/8" in diameter. Thanks.

    Get some different lengths of chain and 4 and 6 foot staff.

    • @Sithikus
      @Sithikus 7 лет назад

      1sunstyle most people don't carry around a 6-foot staff with them everyday but they do carry on walking sticks through about four and a half to 5 feet long... A 5-foot staff works just as good as a six foot or 8 foot or 10 foot or 12 foot spear

      I didn't understand empty hand fighting until I learned weaponry. I like the different circles the weapons make. I could add a number of other weapons to my list of suggestions, but those are the basics.

    • @TheSubwaysurfer
      @TheSubwaysurfer 5 лет назад

      inosanto gives an annual seminar in NYC that only costs 200.oo to attend. that's a steal considering who he is.
      unfortunately I just missed him recently and hope he continues to live so I catch him next year

      I'm proud that I'm filipino bcause they said arnis martial arts came from Philippines!

    • @TheMasterguardian
      @TheMasterguardian 7 лет назад

      I don't know kali but i know many other martial arts
      And to my knowledge you need to actually master the style first like 2nd to 3rd degree black belt then you can start thinking about things that you want to add to it and even then if you're not 5th degree or higher it might not be accepted by the other masters or lineage holders of the style

      ummm...ukiduki!
