@@FrancisMaina This was another Hammered at Xmas gig a couple of weeks prior at the Forum in Kentish Town with Nightrage, Dark Tranquillity, The Haunted and Arch Enemy headlining (that was also recorded for their Live Apocalypse DVD). That was right up there as well. If a remember rightly one of Calibans guitarists broke a string on their first song and they then cancelled the rest of the set as they didn't have any spares. For me this was peak In Flames, I saw them several times subsequently and they never approached this level of epicness.
Sensational. Absolutely amazing. I miss you In Flames. The raw ENERGY man. Watching this show is like sitting behind B1 Lancer doing 100% engine runs. Blows me the fuck away.
The last 2 times I have seen them were at Welcome to Rockville's the last being 2017. A different animal yet still one I love. The new lineup in 17 was actually a lot better than the 15 show, they needed it I felt.
00:05 Pinball Map, 04:28 System, 08:14 Fucking Hostile (Pantera) & Behind Space, 13:56 Cloud Connected, 18:12 In Search for I, 21:56 "I need to tie my shoe", 22:06 "I tied my shoe" & The Quiet Place, 25:50 Trigger, 30:25 Touch of Red, 33:54 My Sweet Shadow
One of the best gigs I ever went to, it is however such a shame that the band chose to edit out a large chunk of the gig when they released it on DVD. The actual full set list that night was: 1. Pinball Map 2. System 3. Episode 666 4. Embody the Invisible 5. F**king Hostile 6. Behind Space 7. Cloud Connected 8. Dial 595 - Escape 9. In Search For I 10. Only For The Weak 11. Clayman 12. The Quiet Place 13. Trigger 14. Touch of Red 15. My Sweet Shadow
Holy shit that was the best performance of My Sweet Shadow and System I've ever seen. They really stood out for me this set, which is saying considering how amazing this was.
I was there with my son, we travelled from Bristol stayed overnight, I had the worst fuckin cold ever, I had a job to talk, but the guy standing next to me bought me a huge brandy, that helped so we could talk between bands , never met him before, top guy, gig was awesome as well👍
I was on them when they were in rock for people dont remember wich year 2019 i think. And it was this same energy...long time after i stopped listening their music. And all of a sudden i was back in a 2005 head bangin screaming and everything w/beer in hand having good time with my friend who never heard of them...
I think the people who rag on in flames in 2020 is because they were late to the game in in flames prime, there is nothing wrong with admitting being more wholesome and talented then you are now because for the sheer talent they display here especially with Anders vocals they are emotional harnessed perfection, but we are humans we do not last for ever and we get tired and older it’s fate, so a lot of people who rag on them were not there with the band through the ages from the beginning till now, because when you follow a band and they get older you don’t mind the changes so much because you have the memories of times like this and can rejoice in the memories and the present new sounds. Cuz they still sound amazing now but obviously it was a whole total domination of sound displayed here. So I like it all and I hope newer fans of bands in the same boat can understand that. Avenged sevenfold is a good example also, there first two albums were a hard metal core sound almost now they sound way way way different but I still have the albums and memories when they were at there hardest, we all evolve and change and we should respect that because these guys are the artist that brought of something beautiful and it’s FROM them, not what we WANT of them. 🇺🇸🤘🏼🔥🤘🏾🔥🤘🏿🔥✌🏾🔥🤘🏽🇸🇪
I love this video!!! I'm different than most of you I guess. I got into In Flames after watching the Wacken 2012 clip. Thought that was seriously awesome. Then I saw this, and I realise how everyone is kinda pissed that they don't quite have the intensity they used to. In Flames are utterly mesmerising in this video. Every song they play is unbelievable. Thanks for the upload!!
+HaloismyDestiny Most of the videos you can watch on YT are from festivals... mixed audience, exhausted audience, and yes I have to admit: bored band. You should try to visit one of their shows when they are on tour. Only Jesterheads in the audience, an they still play in small places where you have way better atmosphere. And for me, even their never stuff sounds much much better when they play it live!
Inflames I salute you all for all the music 🎶 that you play played offer this year's and for your family and friends that you care for metal head janders
I love this audio. It's a little dirty and distorted, and that is great! Audio from a consert done today or in the last 5 years is too good. It's clean, compressed and mixed to perfection, and it takes all the edge out of it. If you listen to this kind of music you want the grit and the agressive sound that this has.
Yes inflames you're guitar solos are powerful and with a lot of drums and bass 🔊 and to sing up to the sky ✨ 🎶 that is a amazing work to give it all for the audience and to the people 😀 Ander that is all the energy you need to play those songs 🎵 metal fan alex
To me In Flames faded away after the Clayman tour BUT this is fuckin’ INTENSE! Damn! I fell in love with IF in the late 90s, saw them in 2001 and almost lost my head headbanging. Still deeply love the old In Flames and regularly listen to the old material which is pure gold.
I agree I can play that song only on the bass but I now the maladys like the back of my hand ✋ 🎶 great guitar playing cool bass powerful drums amazing vocals two so for a the people around the world 🌎 be careful with this virus ok metal fan alex
This line up right here was the pinnacle of In Flames live show. It'll never be better. Anders voice and endurance is better here than it ever was before and has been since.
the show in helsinki last month was around 2 hours and with a very heavy cataloge, almost all the classic songs. And his voice sounded great still at the end of the show. This band is insane.
@@klabbegustafsson8605 I saw them september last year and I was surprised he kept it going as long as he did. Some shows he sounds great, others you can hear him struggle. Back to back dates probably burn him out. A day off is always nice for a vocalist. The older you get the more time you need to heal, that includes the vocal cords and diagram.
I´ve seen them five times live (Sweden). Best concert of those were in Stockholm at "Hovet" in 2009 "Taste of Chaos"-Tour with other bands. Jesper got up on stage for a while and played as well.
Everyone thinks Jester Race was their magnum opus. They’re wrong. “I need to tie my shoe” is the true pinnacle of In Flames.
Probably one of the best In Flames concerts ever. The last song, My Sweet Shadow... WOW!
Totally right! So emotional, wonderful and heavy!! ...the good old era!
Probably, no doubt. Special to say the least...
Bro check out the Sticky Fingers live concert, both are full of energy with an amazing performance
@@UNGOLIATH-x4n Yep, I have seen the entire concert multiple times. It's epic for sure.
from green to red our days pass by waiting for a sign to tell us why !!!!
Boobs and Beers is such an underrated song...
This is by far the shortests , yet greatest, concert I have ever seen.
IN FLAMES WE TRUST.
I absolutely love and miss this era of In Flames.
I was at this, best gig of my life, wish i could go back and relive it.
Francis Maina u was there? Lucky person, last month I knew in Flames, such a great diference

It was an event called Hammered At Xmas, Lacuna Coil, Caliban & Chimaira played and the final act was In Flames

What a good era of In Flames
So depressed they couldn't get visas to tour with Megadeth this summer. Im here in 2021. Anyone else?

Great mix, sound here kicks so much ass. Double bass along with that tuning sounds like fucking machine guns

Same, I actually gifted mine to my best bud. Lol

Came here from Wacken 2015 video to cure the disappointment...

Haha, so Right!!! 😂😂
Theis guitar sound and drumming is iconic
Original lineup dead nuts in their prime live in London, legendary!!! Scream for me fucking Hammersmith!!!!!! \m/ Gothenburg's finest!!!
