Smart lady for not giving them a penny. Even in the US, old Hmong people still think like your in-laws. They think they're still in Laos where old people rule. They still have this tribal, nomadic mentality where a patriarch or matriarch rules. Hmong "law" don't look at right or wrong but rather who has more influence. Since we're all taught to respect the elderly, old Hmong people get the impression that everyone will do their bidding... that right or wrong, what they did is right because they're older. If you're a woman, if you're an orphan, if you have few or no relatives, if you're young and going against a Hmong who's older than you, don't go to a Hmong "court" (like those with kwvtij or 18 clan) because old Hmong men is bias when it comes to age and gender.

I just want to talk about the INSURANCE part…! The lady has the right to the insurance MONEY since she was the one paying for it! You can’t just come in and steal it! My dad passed away! And we had a family meeting about the INSURANCE money! My dad brother my UNCLE wanted my mom to divide the money and give half to my dad second wife! Umm freaking no! She didn’t pay for it! So therefore she gets nothing! Hmong people have to understand that whoever pays for the insurance they get the money!
You are right lady, this ex mil of yours should have her son and daughter marry togther since she don't like no one out there, sad but it's true. They need to let their kids married whoever.
It's obvious this lady is not telling the whole truth! There's no way anyone can just put a restraining order on you, the court would have to find you guilty to put this on you. Plus, you're the wife, you have more rights to his body than his family!
Clearly there was too much resentment and hatred in this family! For someone to hate to this extent, you had to have alternative motives to what you were doing. I think the mil thought if she put a restraining order on the dil she would be able to act the victim n get the insurance money. Clearly she was really proud of herself, until she knew she f’ed up. Mil never wanted anything to do with the dil and she still tried even after death to keep Dil away. Some mil’s r this evil, even during death. She wasn’t going to give up her son to the dil! Treacherous mil she is. I totally under stand her last words, if u can’t be nice to your dil, then just save your daughter for for son! That said a lot about her life as a dil of this horrid family, I’m happy you r married and out of that family.
I'm pretty sure I've heard the mil's side of this story b4. I remember in the mil's story, the mil said that the dil went and have the son's body dug up and buried somewhere else. And the dil took the life insurance money and didn't give the inlaws any. I wonder if this is the dil's side to the story.
Probably not the same story. This nyab said that she and her late husband were not legally married so that means she has zero legal right to move her husband's body to another plot. The nyab in the other story was legally married so she can legally move her late husband's body wherever she wants.
What is wrong with Hmong people? My sil have a kid every year. I love all of my nieces and nephews. When you have kids they yell at you, when you don't have kids they still yell at you. Sorry that you have to go through all that.
Lady why do you keep having more kids with someone who dont care about you and basically cheating on you! Go have more kids with someone who loves and cares for them. Having more kids with someone who dont love you does not make them love you more. I just dont get it.
No, tam li kuv paub mas txawm nyob ua ke ntev pes tsawg xyoo los yog tsis muaj daim ntawv sib yuav ces yeej claim tsis tau tias yog husband and wife raws li ntawm miskas txoj cai. Ntawm hmoob ces koj yuav tau tha nws raws li hmoob txoj cai yog thaum niam thiab txiv tsis tha. Tabsis ntawm miskas cai ces koj tsis muaj ntaub ntawv sib yuav ces yog nws tuag kiag lawm los nws tej pensión thiab Nyiaj poj ntsuam los peb yeej tsis tau.
She didn't said she got nyiaj poj nstuam. But her kids does because it's their dad that passed away. If I'm not wrong , it's called survival money. My husband's little brother got it when my father in law passed away because he was still under age.
Ok you already knew that family don’t like you why would you marry into that family anyway on the life insurance if you’re name is not on the policy you’re not getting an dime
Always two sides to a story. First of all, this story has a lot of holes in it, a lot of things don’t make sense. Not saying it’s not true, but what I’m saying is that listeners shouldn’t always take a story for face value, always remember there’s two sides to a story. This story sounds like her good reason for why she won’t give them a dime of the insurance money… which may or may not be all true. In the hmong community, it makes no sense that this lady’s husband funeral, went the way it did. No men involved?? They wouldn’t let their own grandsons see their dad?? Those things don’t make any sense. Judges won’t usually just issue a restraining order if it makes no sense at all, why would a judge tell a wife she can’t go see her husband at his funeral, unless there’s something crazy involved that’s not told in this version of the story…. Just sayin….

Cas ķoj txhuas2 zaj neej neeg puav leej tag bachelor thiab Doctor xwb yog li hmong nyob U.S.A txawj ntaub ntawv tag nrhos li ntag.
😂😂😂 what a satisfying story!! These type of mother in law needs to learn.. I wouldn’t have given her jack shit too,

Shameless in laws. You should just move on. Don't gaf!
I'm pretty sure I've heard the mil's side of this story b4. I remember in the mil's story, the mil said that the dil went and have the son's body dug up and buried somewhere else. And the dil took the life insurance money and didn't give the inlaws any. I wonder if this is the dil's side to the story.
It’s not the same story.
I remember reading this story when it was happening. Do we even know what the outcome was. Why the DIL dig up her husband?
Probably not the same story. This nyab said that she and her late husband were not legally married so that means she has zero legal right to move her husband's body to another plot. The nyab in the other story was legally married so she can legally move her late husband's body wherever she wants.
Yus tawm mus sab nrauv lawm tsis tsim nyog tuaj cem li lawm os cov muam no yeej tsis txawj xa li os
What is wrong with Hmong people? My sil have a kid every year. I love all of my nieces and nephews. When you have kids they yell at you, when you don't have kids they still yell at you. Sorry that you have to go through all that.
Smart moves. They deserved what they did.
Why would you not have a marriage certificate and he LEGALLY married 🤦♂️
Koj tus niam pog yuav tseg nws tus tub rau niam pog tus ntxhais. Cov niam pog thiab muam khib nyiab zoo li no xwb ces tsa ntiv tes rau xwb.

Ok you already knew that family don’t like you why would you marry into that family anyway on the life insurance if you’re name is not on the policy you’re not getting an dime
Wow! If the entire family hates you to get a restraining order. You definitely did something wrong. Cant wait to hear part 2 from your in-laws.
Nrog koj tu siab kg…Cas phem ua luaj li os

Life insurance is always an issue, regardless of ethnicity. I've seen first-hand, and it was horrible! There are entitled people all around us. Smh.
If people have any shame, then there will be no issue. This is why the company assigns a beneficiary.
Hahaha pab kwv tij ruam li pab no es ntshe txhua tus txiv neej noj quav hlob xwb tiag lau. Ntshe yuav tsis muaj 1 tug noj nyom hlob li os pab hmoob no na..awb tiag tiag 😮😮😮

Not all mother n law is nice.

Oh ntuj es, another drama about money.
Why would they be able to get a
Restraining order on you without good cause? That’s what I’m wondering.
Exactly. Maybe she's not telling the whole truth.
She did said she likes her husband more than him her. I think it was a toxic relationship in order for this restraining order to happen... She's no angel for threatening to remove her husband's body and hide from his family
