Japan railways in Niigata! Echigo Line Uchinonishigaoka Station

I filmed the arrival and departure scenes at Uchinonishigaoka Station on the Echigo Line.
This station opened in 2005. It is currently the newest station on the Echigo Line, but will be replaced by Kamidokoro Station, which will open at the end of fiscal year 2024.
Housing development has progressed around this station, and in response to this, the establishment of a new station was reconsidered, and this station opened in 2005.
This station is in the city, but the number of trains is reduced at Uchino Station, one station closer to Niigata, so there is only one train per hour at this station.
In addition, the area south of this station is rural, which adds to the local feel.
