I personally still dont like the flatscreen TV's in the new cars, thats the only thing I dislike. a B58 engine and avg ~6L/100km is just insane. It's a shame that only the top engines get a treatment like that, here in austria its impossible to pay for a engine like that since insurance with scam tax is way too high. BMW needs to make a baby B58 with like 120-150hp I would buy it instantly if it has 800km range.
@ B48 looks like exactly what I want, that thing can run stock from ~150hp up to 300(with flash and 1-2 mods) without any issues. Only "issue" is the used cars cost around 30k which is a lot of money for me, so I have to wait a few more years sadly

Such tests do not make sense, you literally go out on the highway and cruise at 110 km/h without pressing the gas pedal. I wish the test was more realistic if the cars were driven normally, but that's just my opinion.
Adding to my previous post, after I did see the part of the Panorama roof. Unfortunatley, some BMW engineers decided that this roof cannot be opened, which is really a bummer, especially in summer time when sometimes the car is parket in the sun and you would like to open the roof a little bit. Even more though, because the remote heating and cooling system cannot be used here in Switzerland (Europe?) because the "remote engine start" function is not available in the climate menu (but you pay for the remote heating an optional price....!!). It is sometimes these details which make you tear out your hair when you consider the price of this luxury SUV....now I stop complaining, I do not regret I bought it....
i know your problem, even though i own an IX3 with the roof that opens, i don't really use it that much, BMW's engineers realized that only a chunk, like 11%-23%, actually open the sun roof, and thats mostly smokers. When i use it, it's to just "have an open car" I have no engine sound since it's electric, it's just nice to have. But I do use the remote heating and ventilation, because it's possible in an IX3. That really is. just a problem in Switzerland with the remote engine start.
One of the most enjoyable things for me is a slow drive around town in late afternoons (when the sun is lower and not so strong) with the sunroof open. 😊
the big brother of my x1 23i :) fuel economy is really impressive for this motor and same for my car as well you can drive it with 6liters - great for 2 liter petrol engine
Nice one, but please do a fuel consumption how you were driving at min 13:22!!! Do 100 km like that and after, do the average, first 100km, like 6.3l/100km, second 100 km, probably 14-16l/100km, so 10.5-11.5 give or take!! 🎉

You are crawling on a highway at 90 -100 km/h average speed and bragging about fuel eficiency. That is the best driving condition one can have for low fuel consumption. Do some more dynamic driving including braking and overtaking and then come up with figures. What is that 12.6 l per 100 km average at 05:15? I drive a 2017 540iX and yes, it can go below 8 liters at 100 km with easy drive on an empty road but it is actually 10.7 in total average.
