The power of community is called Social Capital. Our parents survived by sharing and co-owning assets like utensils, chairs, tents , house consumables through merry go rounds etc! The difference is, our generation we can afford these things either through purchase or hire . Therefore we cannot relate to the why “wa Thomas” 😂 needed to be added on the list . On the flip side, we are the most depressed generation where our “money/wealth” cannot help , and if it does , it’s either destructive in terms of addiction or medical fees in-terms of therapy . So the social capital is always powerful than we can imagine . And that’s why the intentionality in friendships is now a hot topic to then blend these gaps .
Such a beautiful conversation. I have laughed 🤣🤣🤣. Y'all are so hilarious. Its beautiful to see the growth after all these years. Iv been a fan of y'all since 2010 - from Moz's wedo, Moji akishow up kwa Mad Love Lounge na Ben in Christ Cycoz wakiimba Give me some more. So interesting to hear the struggles you guys were going through na vile tulikuwa tunaamini nyinyi wote ni millionaires juu mlikuwa kwa tv 😅😅
Its still shocks me how my parents bring an entire community during occasions. I recall on my graduation ceremony which was planned in a week, they managed to pull over 100 people and it was about to go overboard 😀 There are times I've asked myself if I get to that certain age if I'll manage to do that. Let me go on watching and this was just a by the way.
Thanks for having me bro!
Can’t wait for part 2.
I really enjoyed this conversation Moz. Shout out Moji and Ben.
