How do you feel about IGN acquiring multiple gaming websites? Share your thoughts about everything in the comments!

Pretty simple. IGN wants to be THE company whose voice matters. Independent journalism is a threat to that vision. Kind of makes you think, doesn’t it? If you want to see who benefits, follow the money and the business relationships.

It's a lot more complicated and layered than that TBH. Many things all working at the same time for stuff like this to happen.

hello : I only want to watch Star Wars series, but I don't want to watch the movies because most of them are old and of bad quality, and I want to avoid them.
My first question is: Is there a specific order for watching Star Wars series or not or should I start with The Mandalorian and follow what comes after?
my second question: Some people told me that it is not necessary to watch all the films in order to understand the series, and that you should only watch some of the recent films (what are these films) or it's ok if i only did watch the series

      - Watch the Star Wars movies in release order (the order in which each movie came out).
      - You should watch the first 6 movies (before Disney), and everything else will be easier to understand and appreciate.

It seems like IGN wants to become a mononpoly.

I see a lot of people throwing that term around, but I'm not sure it's applied so easily with this. Because there are still other outlets for the verticals we get at IGN. And the websites they acquired were never really their competition (when looking at the sizes of every outlet right now).
