Paster Erwin, thank you for this message, it's something I've been thinking about for the last few weeks. Although, I have a question that may seem blasphemous but it's something I haven't been able to find out for myself yet. You said in your sermon that God is unchanging, and I have grown up believing that but recently I've been trying to figure out how that can be because we as humans change, but God seems incapable of changing. I don't know if God has the capacity to change and chooses to remain the same or if he can't change because he is a perfect being. It's just hard for me to believe that we as humans can do something that God can not do. Thank you for everything you have said. Thank you for pushing the churches boundaries so we can make a change in this world. I know I have changed a lot because of what you have said, and I'm definitely not done yet. I believe it's that he is a perfect being and the only reason we change is because we are walking towards what he already is and reunite with him. Like the sermone says we are learning to reclaim our identity and everything that means, all the shedding and growing we need to do before we are ready, changed enough that we get to him and truly know and understand him. Like in Corinthians, there are things we will know then and now he don't know fully things we will see that we can now only see partially.
