I’ve never commented on an NL video but I wanna say something positive in that i think he actually did well in navigating a non weapon build he’s not used to! There were some mistakes of course like trying to go all shield at one point but he tested and learned the correct lessons from it (the two items removed were the ones making the faster loop possible). And there are some meta choices that he didn’t know like keeping the fishing rod in stash as that’s the best way to get duplicate small aquatic items. Or that heal/shield enchants match the damage/shield/heal of the items so that heal enchant was probably best on the turtle shell. But those are things he can figure out later. Theres hope for the Bazaar vids yet!
I think all the money/sell items shenanigans make him harder to pivot (because it makes you commit to certain items) but he has a lot of tricks in his bag (literally) More potential but less flexible
He needs to follow a certain pace to keep the video engaging. If he takes too long to think of what to buy/sell he might lose viewership. Sad to say but thats just the way show biz works and why pyg might not really mesh well with his entertainer habits

The biggest issue with Dooley is that the he comes with a very versatile and powerful combo piece built in to his board, and it has some absolutely disgusting permutations like the friend core, he can just kinda slapshod synergies together in ways that would be heavily punished on other characters

that day 2 build by vanessa, wth? that's like a complete build so early on and I only just saw the same thing in a fun i just had. I think there's definitely an issue with the people matchups that you face in game. they feel like almost every person is a highly tuned contender of a build. nothing feels like anyone is exploring any of the other options for heroes and just dialling up the normal builds constantly. I, admittedly, have no idea how to fix that but it certainly is a pain to try play through in game
How instantly he sold that diamond blowgun when he had a skill that could charge weapons sent me. I wonder if he has ever fought against or used the blowgun. It stacks poison to an insane amount.
As a loyal Bazaar watcher I have to let my thoughts known if it's at risk. I would say it's the only game like this that I watch from you that I can make sense of (I don't play STS). At the same time, if it's feeling like a slog and you're just waiting out a patch, I wouldn't mind if you took a little hiatus. I have so much going on that I can keep myself busy until you return. If you do, I'll be here for it day one.

In terms of game enjoyment, I'd say it's perfectly fair to end the run early if you don't get a good start (like last time). I say that as someone who doesn't play, but who enjoys the successes more than watching you struggle. Just keep the runbacks in the video so it doesn't look like you're super lucky.
it feels like free ranked tickets from 10 wins in normals is what causes normals to be so full of insane builds. like if it was just 7 wins instead people wouldn't have to optimize so hard to 10-win just to go back to grinding ranked. most games have 2 different ladders for a reason i doubt tempo would ever change that though, since making it hard to earn ranked tickets increases the f2p grind and incentivizes spending money on gems

As Type A as I get when he has a bad run, I truly root for NL and at least get to enjoy the first, sweet moments of hope when I see that the video is almost an hour long

I tried so hard to get 10 wins as Vanessa in ranked but always failed, like 3 consecutive Dooleys on day 11, 12, and 13 made me not get my tenth victory. I lived long enough to become a villain and I learned how to play Dooley a bit, I have two 10 victories in ranked under my belt now.
doolet arc would be horrible man, and i think NL knows that. like item vaiance and placement and enchants are so much more complicated, he would just pivot 50 times without settling on a build lol

Heal enchantment on turtle shell scales with its shield so it would have been a MUCH better target for that upgrade since it cast much more often!
