Shayda, your videos are so relaxing to watch! When I had a stressful day or just want to see some color on a white paper, I come to your channel. When they pop on my notification bar, I save them to watch sometime when I know I'll be a little down, and they always put a smile on my face. You make it look so easy, and your drawings are stunning works of art. I'm so happy I found you... thanks for existing!
Shayda, I am a watercolor beginner and you've helped my experience with this video and many of your others! Its so relaxing watching you paint and everything is so peaceful and beautiful. You're by far my favorite watercolor youtuber, thank you for all that you do!
Love this! I just discovered your channel and I’m loving it!!! You’re teaching all the things I’ve wanted to learn to paint! I’m so excited 😆 Thank you for your willingness to share your talent and your time!!
Shayda, I know from watching all your videos that you and your husband have traveled extensively.I would love to see a series on botanicals from around the world.! Love whatever you do!
Great idea!! I actually have a tropical flowers video ready to publish on Tuesday! But I would love to paint some flowers of Iceland and more from Australia.... Love your idea!
Beautiful! Thank you for your detailed step by step instructions painting herbs - especially basil. I find that one so tricky! I am going to print and hang your lovely artwork in my kitchen as soon as I get a new frame! ❤️
Thank you for making these great tutorials. You're a very good teacher and a talented artist! Appreciate the hard work and planning that goes into making these vids.
I loved this tutorial, one herbs 🌿 are just gorgeous to cook with. Two, my favourite colour is green, such a calm colour. Three they just look beautiful. Another fabulous video 👏👩🏼🍳🎨🌿🌱
Thanks very much for this video. I tried my hand at what you accomplished so effortlessly, only to realize I failed, spectacularly ;-) I will try again. Thank you!
I totally love this painting, would be awesome in my kitchen because I love to bake. I may just try my best to duplicate in my own style of course. Great theme today! Thank you Shayda as always!!! Very inspiring!!
Off topic: Can you do a video on paint brushes. Sometimes I may use the wrong paintbrush. Some brushes are flat, some are tipped, some have a belly, and I don't know to use sable or acrylic brushes properly? Just a basic video woudl be great. I have so many brushes, but don't really know the best to use for water colour florals or landscapes, etc.
Babel Nerves I love everything Shayda does!!! I don’t get people. Shayda has given me the courage to experiment and play with watercolors and I love it!!!
True, one thing I didn't show was that I had quickly drawn the herbs on a sheet of scrap paper so i knew where I wanted to place each one on the page 😊
You are such a beautiful teacher Shayda and amazing painter. I learn so easily from you. Is there any chance you might be coming to Boulder, Colorado for a workshop or anything?
Your drawings are very realistic and beautiful. 🖤❤🖤 Can you tell me what type of paper you use for watercolor drawings and what type of brush is suitable and what type of paper is suitable and convenient for this?🙂
Hi, I came across your channel and aside from the lovely content, I loved the way you guide and it is really helpful. One request: You are into florals but if you could guide to do trees and bushes, it would be really great.Thanks. Look forward for more content from you.
@Shayda , I have a question. & This is a beginner amateur maybe even a dumb question. I sometimes forget that I have painted in a particular region and in being focussed on a different part, put the base of my palm on, by mistake and ruin the region I had earlier painted! Does it happen to you or anyone here?! Its so frustrating. Is there a strategy that you employ to avoid this apart from "being careful" :D ? & Also, stuff takes forever to dry on my Matt cold pressed paper! Frustrating! Am I using the wrong type of paper or am I using too much water?
The like button is not enough for this video, I want to another like button for the saying I'm in love with this video, I love you and I'm in love with your what you doing
