It's funny because before this DD was warning 5up about pretty much this exact situation. 5up had been talking about how Lover/Imposter was a really fun combination and DD pointed out that because of the mod they were using the Crewmate Lover could be an incredibly strong role, so you shouldn't force the game to add it to too many games. 5up promptly removed Swapper from their setup after this to prevent another basically unbeatable combination from happening again. Even Mayor/Imposter isn't this strong because Mayor only gets a single shot and it isn't even as powerful. Though to be fair, the roles that could have screwed this did get taken out very cleanly by complete coincidence: Elaina was Sheriff gunning for Baycon right from the start, Velvet was Arsonist and Steve saw Puffy blow up Elaina and would have accused her, but Altruisted instead. And Puffy was the Jester, so that's a no no.

Imposter idea: Taskmaster- you mark someone and they get two tasks they have to do before the timer goes off and they die
It'd be more chaotic if after a merting ends, and you have all your tasks done, 2 tasks have to be finished again
Then the imposter could just camp one of the tasks and kill them there regardless
