I think the best thing to do is to contact the local council. Since it has been so long with no result, I would suggest you go to the council personally if you want to get something solid. Council replying to an enquiry via email will take a few days. Be polite but firm. Avoid raising your voice especially if the local council is controlled by the Labour party. Oh, one more thing, always ask for the name of the person who is dealing with your case. This is to avoid repeating all the procedures from scratch. This is how they do things.

@@martinng6968 Well, you didn't say that you are not in the UK. If you have bought the property sometimes ago and if you still haven't paid the council tax, you may be in a little bit of bother. You really have to sort it out. And yes, you may have to employ the services of 鬆仔.
