i love purple haze, bulb ground punch is the best move in the moveset imo, it bypasses raging demon and comes out unreactably, (confirms from barrage) how it bypasses raging dem is because one of the bulbs thrown out activates the epitaph, and another hits the opponent. you got hit by reality marble? just use every move you have, the cooldowns are insanely short. got ora kicked/smite into time stop? blood (if you're vamp) saves you, unless its a sptw hamon or you don't have blood. if you manage to get the opponent stuck in bulb breaker punch until the end (which is tbh really hard to do) then that's 25% of their health gone. bulb throw is just cancer. if you're good at aiming the opponent will always get poisoned. even if they block it. tl;dr - bulb breaker ground punch bypasses ragin demon, vamp is the best spec with the stand, bulb breaker punch does a lil bit over 50 damage, bulb throw + good aim = guaranteed poison, reality marble got nothing on you. and poison makes you unable to pose for healing please reply if i missed some things or if I'm wrong somewhere.
As a purple haze vamp main I am obliged to share the stupid op knockdown combo which is pretty much inescapable if they don't block (which they never do). Bulb breaker ground punch + bulb throw + laser ripper stingy eyes. Each move knocks the opponenet backwards just the right amount for the moves to feed right into each other if timed correctly. Even if the opponent tries to run back, which would usually get you out of any knockdown combo, it doesn't work as the hitbox on the moves still hits them anyway lol. The only real way to counter it is to run forwards towards the ph which not a single person ever does because all they are thinking is "I gotta run away from this guy to get out of this combo" which just ends up feeding into their own death from the combo.
Bulb Breaker can't be cancelled btw, so you could've used that to get out of a few binds in the video And technically PH doesn't have many combos, Vamp however does allow synergy between it's attacks, like Space Ripper Stingy Eyes + Bulb Throw.

Looking back at this and realizing purple haze is really good in sbr because the stand itself forces people out of the way, moves are really easy to use and you don't need to combo or fight, sit back and relax as you ride a "slow dancer" as people around you die from the poison.
After playing 1v1s with it, gotta say its really annoying to fight against. The amount of people raging and saying that it takes no skill is so funny lmao, too bad it's a quick L if you go against stands with time stop
I remember barely defeating cheez overlord with that stand. Against high destructive power stands, its especially hard to win when they know how to block your bulbs, effectively increasing the death “timer” that is poison. Ground bulb punch is unreactable tho
Fun fact: you can barrage back when people use boxing barrage or sunlight yellow overdrive. They can't use their barrage immediately after they end their spec barrage.

As a main of this stand i can confirm this But there are a few weaknesses of it -Low base damage -Fighting stands that can reach you easily will beat you -Other ranged stands - K C R -Poisoning yourself -Your moves are cancellable by m1s It would be great if they buffed its base damage or just rework the entire stand since it is one of the oldest
@@thegoldengamer9315 a few reasons: 1.) second highest m1s/barrage in the game 2.) has a teleport and time erase 3.) you can use reality marble and pose for free hp 4.) scythe not only does good dmg, but it is also a guaranteed block break with a massive hitbox, and it can remove a leg or an arm, the leg makes it harder for your opponent to run and the arm makes them take more dmg 5.) epitaph with raging demon does a great amount of damage, you can do various things to set it up, like barrage baiting or just outright mashing t mid-combo to interrupt your opponent kcr is very scary
A simple tip for new purple haze mains is to always use T then keep then inside it, a simple way of doing this is to stand/fist barrage or use any long ragdoll/stun moves like blood suck, freeze, eye gouge, or jaw breaker

My friend mains Anubis and Purple Haze boxing and he has a build which is vitality max and Regen 5 with boxing. He's basically immortal on top of being Purple Haze and do a lot of damage and don't forget the rage mode which makes him take even less damage

(Dont actually do what im gonna say unless you never use another stand that isnt purple haze or have all of your slots filled with cheap skill tree stands) Purple haze is absurdly cheap, you can easily get everything you can from that stand and still have a hell of a lot points, so you can just spend all those extra points on healing, and then even with the base health of a character you wont take much dmg, and when you have that extra healing with boxing or vamp, its basically like if u were always on rage mode except for the dmg buff, you take nearly 0 dmg
