I honestly think one of solo levelling's biggest failure is a lack of villains. When you know the MC wins every single fight with little effort, then it becomes meaningless to continue watching. This is why I dropped it for Legend of the Northern Blade and never looked back.

Out of the 10 manhwas, I have read 6 and based on that I would like to say one thing. I agree with your opinions on all the manhwas other than sweet home. Your view on why Solo Leveling is not no.1 is pretty understandable however when it comes to Sweet Home, Idk which manhwa you read but it was not sweet home. Sweet home doesn't have bullying...Like in the middle there are some guys who come and try to take over the apartment building by force but that is not bullying. The mc is bullied but it's not even that severe to be honest. You could even say the mc landed himself in the situation due to his own fault. Sweet Home is pure peak. It is written by the same author of Bastard that you have ranked no. 1 and I would say that Sweet Home is on par with bastard when comes to character development, pacing, plot, world building, romance action and even the ending. Though it's not actually ended and a sequel is on the way while it's prequel "Shotgun Boy" is already out, the way it creates suspense for the sequel and also the bridging between Shotgun Boy and Sweet Home in the last chapter of the prequel is also perfect. It all blends in perfectly. I know some people might think that this is just a rant of a fanatic but I assure you that it is not what the guy in the video said. Sweet Home should up there in the top 3 and maybe even paired with Bastard at no. 1 spot.
When I finished reading The Boxer, I felt healed and just like Yu, I found my light. It was really satisfying. Heavenly Demon Instructor is an amazing finished manhwa too. I recommend it to those who like martial arts genre manhwa
“To Be Or Not To Be” is also a great finished manhwa, but it’s shounen ai though. If you read it from a story perspective, it is great. There is a midway twist that you won’t see coming but is executed pretty well imo. Caution though not to get too attached to any of the supporting characters. This is war-drama as well so expect some really sad deaths.

About the Boxer it is Great indeed, but, I have to warn you that at some point Author drops following main character and there is another main character with typical story from bulied weak to strong.

For now though check out trash of counts family, it has some city faction building elements, return of the max level hero does to and recently duke pendragon has had some elements of it. tomb raider king is a lil underrated imo ,very unique relationship with items and satisfying ending eventho too happy of an ending ,sometimes we need that tho , only issue i think is villains no matter how strong u didnt feel anxious that he goin to lose

I think one you’ll really enjoy is called “ASURA.” It has its own very unique art style, which is definitely in no way sloppy, the story takes elements from Hinduism as far as the deities that are characters in the story. It’s a fighting story and the characters in it are phenomenally done, you grow an attachment to them.

There is a manhwa called the horizon, it i only 21 chapters, I thought like this looks mid as hell as no one talks about it, but this shit is so fucking depressing and amazing, it is like sweet home and bastard for me but at a compressed version in only 20chapters

I just finished solo leveling and I have to say what a disappointment. Nothing got me emotionally invested the main character was OP which I like however, we don't really get to know anyone in the series all that well or what they think or feel. It's just a story about events etc but there's no character building whatsoever. We literally saw his dad 3 times in the entire anime in total and his mom few times. Even after major goals etc main character simply lacks any depth of character. I have to say animation is awesome concept is awesome but writers of the story are amateur at best really. It will take years if not decades for anyone to come close to Japanese-level story writing. That's just my view :) I hope I'm wrong because i like isekai and there's not enough japanese isekais hence why i started reading manhwas.
I read bastard and I didn't like it at all, it was just so edgy and cringe, read blood on the tracks, it has a very similar premise but does everything 100 times better If solo leveling and bastard are supposed to be the 2 best manhwa of all time I'm just gonna stick to manga 😂
