They should have just reworked the Emma we already have. I'm running out of resources. They aren't coercing me into spending to keep up, rather the opposite.
Close to 10,000 cores to guarantee an unlock is just too much, especially with all the recent events which required spending cores. I finally entered the last section of DD8 so I can cut down on spending cores for the leaderboard events, but right now I don’t have this many cores, so I couldn’t core for her even if I wanted to.
Id say the extend the store, but they will probably remove the turkeys before the store leaves similar to the way they did the nightstalker showcase missions.
The last few days I have been coring into the 100 core +9,000 turkeys. I am getting 200 cores daily from my Arena because Spider Society is just that good.
i have not cored a new toon at all. Plus, i believe Emma is the one that will get dropped for a plug and play toon. So she is already less value or skippable with just that information. Not 100% skippable but I might not put G19 on her right away. I'll save the mutant gear for something else. I do have the gear hoarded so far.
They really screwed us on just not using the old Emma and up in her stats making a new Emma is just another way for them to get money from people that want her when she comes out new.... she's going to be shit ! Mark my words !
@@1BigDaDo If they had reworked Emma instead of Moondragon or Strange, we would have gotten a different 3rd new character. So in the end it wouldn't have changed anything in regards spending money for the team.
Would you recommend using cores to unlock the Ancient One then? I assumed, maybe wrongfully, that the Ancient One was going to the 30 day unlock character. I'll definitely be able to unlock Shadow King (star level unknown) with his release and I already have Odin. Should I just skip Ancient One AND Emma Frost and just wait for their free unlock and save cores for Kahhori like you said?
We do not know who is the 30-day unlock character for Astral, will they even have one with the SK Trial? No data on this. But, Ancient One > Emma yeah for sure. Kahhori will be really good though so it's a toss up I guess. Ancient One is pretty critical in the team working and I think Emma is "skippable" for now.
Strange and Moon dragon will be too busy doing damage to support. Emma is also versatile outside battleworld with the x-men tag possibly with the new immortal team. Do you think scopely will be that nice to make Kahhori a coreable? They are going to gate her by event or paywall like zombie wanda or Capt Britain. I have no doubt she will be epic/mythic/multiverse or whatever new tag to make her cause fomo!
14:15 Does that character disable them in every game mode? Or is it just war? Crucible is my focus. Also does it matter if Astral is being used on offense?
Emma's passive disables SPEED mechanics in all game modes yeah. Astral the team is primarily War though PvP wise, but you can prob use Emma in Crucible.
I personally wouldn't core anything for battle world look at the rewards and the payouts is it really not worth putting that much gold and training materials into for crap rewards ? Don't do it !!! Save for something better !!! I am !!!

So any team that has a legendary WILL be necessary for future unlocks...its pretty much mandatory so however you do it u willl need the astral team

The rewards will change if you're pushing D4 and D5, it just looks bad right now.
