I like to think Mephiles got arrested by the Zone Cops due to the events of Sonic 06 and that the Zone Cops reset Sega Sonic’s world, not the Solaris candle. That candle scene was a fake memory implanted by the Zone Cops. Last-Minute Edit: Sega Sonic is the video game Sonic.
And I love how Mephiles is like,”That dude has issues”. Like, seriously, this is funny coming from a guy who killed Sonic and nearly destroyed the world
Seeing scourge getting mistreated again make me feel sorry he already felt the mistreatment of his father I’m still bitter about it and that bitterness won’t go away

Scourge getting beat up never really made much sense to me even with the control collar doesn't he still have Sonic's skills I mean I guess they just forgot about it but still
It was explained in the issue that The Inhibitor Collards cuts off his speed & agility & the prison's Barber trimmed down his quills so they'll be all dull and not sharp.
