- That's right folks ...straight from Suffolk, VA: The Peanut City Cloggers rock the Virginia Tattoo Hullabaloo April 27, 2014 in the Scope Arena plaza. Probably my favorite out of all the performances! Yeeehaw!
I just love this so much. I don't know how they keep up with such a fast pace, but they are all young, so that definitely is on their side. Great job, love the outfits that they are all wearing & the music. 💕 😊
I use to clog a long time ago I started when I was 8 yrs and quit in my early 20s I probably couldn't do it now

I used to do this type of dancing at the legion and we called it step dancing, great loved your presentation.
Clogging is becoming a lost art but these are some of the best I've seen in my 75 years.

Dancing is superb and the dresses are much nicer than others I’ve seen. These dresses are simple and flowing, but could do with being a regular dress length, I’m sure it wasn’t traditional to flash your knickers.

Not really,Clog dancing exists throughout the UK,Ireland and some other European countries,in fact wherever clogs were worn there existed a local style of dance and this one looks like the type common in North West England(Lancashire) where the clogs had a tighter fit that allowed more elaborate moves.The clue to the ancestry of some of the original settlers in area shown in the video, is obviously in its name.
It’s great love the music and the cloggers and from what I’ve seen it’s something that’s been going on for years, forgive me if I’m wrong about that but I’m from the UK but anyway LOVE IT 🥰

This is American clogging, flatfooting sir!
Clogging came out of many different nationalities. The people who settled Appalachia are truly behind this dance style. They brought it from their homelands and then came together to share music and dance. Check out the history of clogging...it's pretty neat.
