“There is a protocol of approaching, requesting and receiving in the order of royalty.
Dear queen, remember, your husband is the king. Do not let familiarity bring contempt to orderliness in your home. Do not “see him finish” and allow disrespect to ruin your love for each other.”

4. Building self-esteem (reading the word of God, believing the word, speaking it to yourself.
5. There is Purpose in your Calling (Knowing your Assignment (born for a time like this)
6. Mentorship: )listening to others & allowing them to train you & show you the way)
7. Protocol: tactics esther used
8. Queenly Apparel (dress your best)
9. Character (treating everyone with respect)
10. Wholeness (Healing & Acceptance)

Many would say run but make him understand that you want to feel secure around him and you crave words of affirmation/compliments cuz you want to feel special. If he loves you, then he's teachable and so would do right by you but don't forget to elevate his ego.
If it helps try reading "5 love languages by Daniel Chapman" & "Emotional intelligence by Daniel Goleman" or any other relationship books with him. He would understand with time and make his change a prayer point.
