I sincerely believe that CeCe knows this. I am not saying it for her, but there is no such thing as "white/black church" but there are a lot of people that want there to be a "black/white church" which is not what God wants. His righteousness is not imparted according to color. I don't believe CeCe is getting caught up in color, but it is extremely sad that these days we are all caught up in skin color and assumptions based on it. I am a white skinned man that plays in a band with European blood, African blood, Korean blood, Latin blood, blood of all types. We play both "white" and "black" music. I actually despise using those terms, but unfortunately our obsessive society is obsessed over what is "white" and what is "black" and it is all pressed on the gas by having been weaponized through our politics. It is not the heart of God at all. I know she was joking, but now people are using this for power and control over people's lives and that is really sad. That part of it is no joke at all and is divisive and straight up evil. I really hope that the Church, not buildings but God's children IN CHRIST, will rise up and throw this skin color nonsense out and truly love each other and favor one another above ourselves. We are not called to compete against each other. We are called to celebrate our similarities and differences IN CHRIST. Most of all WE ARE CALLED TO HONOR AND WORSHIP THE GOD WHO CREATED US, not our skin color or what we prefer based on our various cultures.
