I doubt the person who asked the question will see this, but here are things I do to improve my tolerance for reading:
-Reduce blue light by using night time settings on my phone and monitor screens at all times, sometimes setting each to 100%
-Set apps and websites to dark mode whenever possible
    -Use one one eye
    -Take 15 minutes breaks
-Reduce sensitivity to reading things I want to read by tracking and eliminating useless time spent on my phone
I've also read that applying a light blue filter over paper will help, but have not tried it myself.
