When roy speaks u can always tell that Sir Alex wd say pretty much the same. Two characters with eager to win. Brilliant
A shame they’re not fans of each other anymore
I agree thats why he got sold
Christopher Rola thats what happens when 2 personality’s are so similar.. they clash with each other
TalkRedDevils I think fergie made the tough call ended it perhaps too early but the stories of Roy unable to be at the levels he was at previously and the bitterness that caused
@@ggmusuhg Nah you dont say
Yorke and Cole were out of this world
Is rashford n martial can get to even 1/4 of their level we'll be alright
With Rudd Van Nistlerooy aswell.
As much I love Cole and Yorke. The Rooney- Ronaldo partnership was something else.
Rooney and Tevez were better.
@@googlereviewer1944 Nope. Tevez played only for us like 2 seasons.and he was mainly brought on loan bcoz Rooney was injured at the start of 07-08 season. So basically they played like one season together.
Amazing Cole and Yorke in their prime. The chemistry between them was world class.
Glad to see Cole & Yorke partnership getting some love. I'm not a Utd fan, but watching their partnership as a kid in terms of their movement off the ball and the way they linked up the play with the midfield, was such a wonderful thing to see. They also seem like good guys, too.
Roy Keane caught me off guard I sat up straight when i heard his voice!!
Same
😂😂
😂😂
best captain of all time for obvious reasons!
Same🤣
Roy doesn’t do FaceTime but if he did it would probably be the best FaceTime in the world
Would be the most bitter and miserable FaceTime ever.
Bloody hell. Those Carlsberg adverts were cracking
eSBee I assume he wasn’t on video because he probably still owns a flip-phone, or maybe even only has a landline
@titus bramble What's wrong with flip phones? Asking for a friend...
Ps your name lol
For some reason I think of Roy Keane only spending time with humans at work. When he goes home all he does it walk his dog in the countryside. I could be wrong, but Roy Keane doesn't seem to like people 🤣
"What did Dwight Yorke have for breakfast that day?"... Katie Price😉🤭😂
Poor Ruud. Always overlooked by all. Still has the best goals to games ratio of any striker in the clubs history. If only he was English, he'd be praised forever....
The Indie Diary I think the way he left has a lot
to do with how he’s not praised as much as he should be. His scoring record in the champ league is something Man Utd never had before he joined.
Poor Ruud. Can't even get his name spelt right...
If he never left we would have another CL for sure
It's not because of his nationality, it's because he was a singular player and not known in a partnership as much as others. We talk about Ruud as a single player, yorke and Cole never get mentioned by themselves as they're known for their great partnership. Ruud is known for being a great striker regardless of the team.
@Bashir Burahee lol my bad. :P
Am Liverpool fan but its obvious even before Neville speaks Yorke and Cole end of
Gary "this moment in time" Neville
If you’re talking partnerships it has to be Yorke and Cole. The chemistry between those two was incredible.
Hughes and Cantona were sensational together at the start of the PL but Yorke and Cole for the treble season is probably the correct answer. They were unbelievable that season but it did peter out after that and then we saw Sheringham and Cole light up the league (even though they didn't like each other) similar to when we saw Cantona and Cole - it worked well due to Coles devastating speed and the technique and eye for a pass that both Sheringham and Cantona had. Later when we tried Ruud up top on his own with veron, scholes and keane in a midfield 3 it didn't really work and so we found a striking combination in Solskjaer and Ruud. After that it was Rooney and Ruud and then Rooney and Tevez. Then we played a front 3. with Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo.
Then we had donkey lukaku up front
Matt Tully the problem with saha is that no one really remembers him as a player
Rooney berbatov tevez
Barbatov
No mention for RVP who was stolen from Arsenal to get the goals that helped Man Utd snatch the title from the blue side of Manchester thought he linked up well with Rooney their combo for RVP goal v Villa should've got goal of the season but was robbed for Bale's strike v West Ham
1:55
Carra always looks so salty when they talk about United
For me Cole/Yorke as a partnership. Would you pick them as individuals no as good as they were they were no Rooney,Van Nistlerooy,Van Persie but as a partnership AMAZING!!
Bit it's a irrelevant bringing them up coz it's not about individually is it Jesus Christ
Cantona & Hughes were a pretty amazing partnership too.
elizabeth tudor definitely 👌
@Green Mills If trophies is all that matters, Mustafi and Phil Jones are better defenders than Koulibaly apparently. One of them is a WC winner, the other is a PL champion. All Koulibaly has is a Belgian Cup.
Off the man u strikers shearer and Sutton were quality at blackburn
Could you add sub titles for when carragher speaks as I can’t understand foreign languages.
"The combination between Yorke and Cole, was out of this world!!"
Rooney and Van Persie were incredible, pity he didn't join United earlier
"The combination between Cole & Yorke was out of this world..." - commentator in Barcelona 3-3 Man Utd, Camp Nou, 1998.
Never will forget that goal.
Yorke and cole were a formidable partnership
What makes that Utd team so strong, dominant and memorable.. Is that they had cover for EVERY position on the field. Alex Ferguson had put together an awesome team. Okay, certain players or the "no.2" in any given position may not have been the best available, but they were still competent players and could go in and do the job, if they were needed.
I remember the team like it was yesterday..
GK: *P. Schmeichel* / *R. van der Gouw*
RB: *G. Neville* / *W. Brown*
CB: *J. Stam* / *D. May*
CB: *H. Berg* / *R. Johnson*
LB: *D. Irwin* / *P. Neville*
RM: *D. Beckham* / *J. Greening*
CM: *R. Keane* / *Q. Fortune*
CM: *P. Scholes* / *N. Butt*
LM: *R. Giggs* / *J. Blomqvist*
RF: *D. Yorke* / *T. Sheringham*
LF: *A. Cole* / *O. Solskjaer*
Great times!
"I am the best striker, Not only in Manchester united but in the world, no wonder David De Gea hasnt saved one shot I have delivered to him"
- Phil Jones
@@posteveryside-beatsnews that is random
@@posteveryside-beatsnews That's not what they said at all idiot
I'm Chris smalling
Static Movement they did tho lmao
@@posteveryside-beatsnews what...?
I'd claim Ronny, Rooney and Carlos, they used to change around so much they were basically all strikers!
Cole & Yorke were a dream come true,,Thx lads...utid
Berbatov and Rooney are the most underrated strike partnership in recent history. Complimented each other perfectly
not that good tho .
Berbaflop lol he needed Rooney, Rooney didn't need him.
Further proof of that was 2009/10 when Rooney scored 34 by the end of March where he got injured put ManUtd in a great position in PL & CL amd had already won them LeagueCup vs good teams and following that injury didn't score again that season and nor did Berba add to his 12 lol then ManUtd missed out on the record 4 in a row because Berba couldn't deliver for 1 game.
Anyone else start smiling with they heard keanes voice 😂
Rooney & Saha is an underrated strike partnership.
Agreed
Production wise, Cole and Yorke, Quality/talent I go with Rooney and Tevez or Rooney and Van Persie but an individual player, Rudd, for me, was the best Utd striker of the epl era
York and cole...look at the video where they blindfold themselves and they are still able to pass to each other..
That goal at the nou camp was possibly the best give and go I’ve ever seen. Yorke Cole
Roy Keane it's not my job to score goals my job was to make sure we win titles 👍you sertenly done that son
He sertenly did!
Sertenly
Sertenly
Do you speaky da englisch?
3:19 tried really hard not cough 😂 3:21 Coronavirus 🙈
Ighalo and Lingard
Are Neville and Carragher isolating together? What’s this about
The chemistry is just too good to stay away
Bum chums
And the sign-off ‘Do stay safe. Do stay apart’. Wait. What?
Shut up u knob
That treble season some people thought Fowler and Owen were the deadly duo but it was Yorke and Cole.
Remember that one-two,3,4 between yorke and cole?
Yorke and Cole clicked almost immediately. It didn't take ten games or anything like it. Ferguson played Solskjaer and Sheringham with Yorke at the start of the 98/99 season, but when Cole came in to partner Yorke they both scored on their second premiership game together against Southampton.
I know Cole and yorke are great players but he started with cantona and Hughes, wow, two of the greatest players there
roy is a legend

Yorke and cole came straight to mind, awesome duo
Hughes and Cantona for me. Man U we’re invincible back then. True fear factor when u played them 93/4... Schmeichel,Parker,Irwin,Bruce,Pallister,Keane,Ince,Kanchelskis,Giggs,Hughes,Cantona... hard hard team all leaders.
Phil Jones and David De Gea partnership was Legendary.
Yorke & Cole were amazing. Best striker to play with was Rooney because he had multiple partnerships and is so unselfish. Best striker was Ruud Van Nistelrooy. If I had to give any striker 1 chance in a game it would be him. So clinical
I miss a good strike partnership.
Seems like 2 up front is a thing of the past
Ole and Ruud was great together!!
Ole and Ruud? Ole was a bench player that was injured most of the time van Nistelrooy was at Man Utd
@@franklingoodwin Well,they scored 61 goals together in 2001/02 season.
@Blaze Temp I swear in the 2000/2001 season that Dwight Yorke was still first choice with Ruud van Nistelrooy. That's why I said Ole was a bench player. He was only not a bench player when the better players like Cole, Sheringham and Yorke left
@Blaze Temp Yep, Dwight Yorke was first choice in 2000/01 where he played 22 Premier League games, he only played 10 Premier League games in 2001/02. So Ole must've played more games in 2001/2002. Although I don't think either were really first choice by that point because Van Nistelrooy started playing upfront on his own or with Scholes just behind him
Yorke-Cole, Shearer-Sutton are two that easily come off the top of my head
Yeah, just like Roy said... United vs Arsenal in those years, the biggest rivalry of the Premiership era to this day, really miss those times. Those were some battles.
We had such a leader in Keano that made it much easier for the strikers
Yorke & Cole hands down. Next debate please...
Take a shot every time a bus goes by that window
Yorke and Cole was breathtaking
Cantona and Solskjaer for the short time that it lasted, is truly underrated. They played brilliantly together. Shame Cantona retired early
Bergkamp and Henry of course
As an Arsenal fan onlooking, the obvious answer for me is Tevez - Rooney - Ronaldo. That team was so daunting to face.
Yorke and Cole were awesome. I remember watching that one two they did I think it was a champions league game. Kills me to say this as well being a Leeds fan 🙈
Andy King Cole was absolutely incredible 5 league titles Champions league cups you name it biggest mistake Fergie made was replacing Cole with Van Nistelrooy who only won 1 league title King Cole was the man great bloke as well
Roy’s just so real ,you don’t get that anymore? The greatest captain that there’s ever been anywhere Imco.
Tevez, ronaldo an rooney.
Unplayable when they where on fire 👍🏻
they were always on fire check how many goals they all got in 2007/08
@Duff man no they were better check the stats. But u cant actually compare it as it's a trio vs a duo
Duff man unplayable? 🤣😂😂🤣
What a load of rubbish
@@userjim83 did u acc find it THAT funny?
Jim 83 go check the stats in that season g. They were monsters
Yorke and Cole are always overlooked when people rate the best PL strikers. By far the best attacking duo in PL history.
Cole and Yorke were not only Utd's best strikeforce but also the premiership's
Irate Primate ronaldo Rooney tevez
@@deludeddevil9393 they were the most formidable but in terms of a partnership, an understanding of each other, Cole and Yorke were unrivalled
Bergkamp and Henry?
@@franklingoodwin great partnership, maybe 2nd behind Cole and Yorke, just wasn't that same chemistry
Roy Keane on the phone: "I don't like these conversations."
Thanks for calling Roy
Yorke and Cole
Gerrard and Torres as a pair were devastating!!
man utd Gerrard won players player of the year and premiership player of the year that year. Torres was 3rd in Balon D’Or and Gerrard 5th that year! Did Yorke and Cole get the same awards??
The TEAM win trophies, not just the strike partnership.
man utd haha, maybe they weren’t as good as Gerrard and Torres? Maybe Man Utds midfield was so good that their goals were given on a plate and their defence and goalkeeper were exceptional which was why they won so much? But yeah I’m sure Gerrard wasn’t too displeased with being the best player in the country when he was with Torres? Shame he didn’t have the standard of players behind him that Yorke and Cole had.
Luckily for ManUtd they had Sheringham and Ole to come on and win the CL final after Yorke and Cole had fired blanks all night!
I’ve grown up watching these two play and I’ve not seen a better partnership since.. and that is Yorke and Cole. Ronaldo and Rooney was pretty good to but
I am missing my sport and footie the most but these interviews and chats are brilliant to hear how it was the rivalries the bond between players absolutely fascinating I played to a reasonable level but just was not dedicated enough and if I played today I'd last maybe 2 minutes cause I tackled maybe a bit too hard at times and the set up now protects the players more I mean keano played at my team Forest and he went to utd the rest is history but I think even he would have to ease off the throttle a bit and that would be weird cause he was 100 % committed so now we wait and more of the same please thankyou boys
That was the first game sky sports allowed you to follow a player. I followed Yorke and he scored.
Yorks & cole best ever partnership best ever💯
This was filmed on the 22nd of March by the way

Defo York and Cole that Juventus game in 1999.
Looks like they've been weighing out the gear on the table, unless that's a phone?
To be fair York and Cole are the only ones who got a decent run out.
Tevez - Saha or RVN and Saha was decent but Saha never reached his potential.
Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo were brilliant together
Yorke and Cole all day, as an eleven Cantona and Hughes but where two people vibe off each other it's got to be Yorke and Cole
What's the name of the player carragher mentions at 3:47? I didn't hear it properly
Patrick Kluivert
ROONEY AND TEVEZ WERE MINE.
My opinion is Ronaldo and Rooney
I think that Ronaldo and Rooney was probably the best strike paring in man United’s era
The way they counter-attacked was unnatural
Partnership, by far Cole n Yorke, but the most natural goal scorer is V N Roy
Cantona and Cole were a good partnership aswel.
That's what the Caribbean gives you john BARNES dwight york now sterling to mention a few 🇯🇲🇹🇹reggae calypso🎼
Ruud Van Nistelrooy and David Beckham!!!
Ronaldo, Tevez, Rooney or Cole/Yorke
I got a question. Do Neville and Carrahher stay at the same home. I dont know
I believe they're doing 'essential work.' :P
@@robertfryett7228 thanks

Peter Davenport and Brian McClair.
There have been some great strike partnerships but Rooney and Ronaldo takes the cake for me. They were simply unreal and out of this world.
Rooney and Ronaldo was like the modern day "Yorke and Cole".
Keane berbatov spurs underated
I wonder if Keane didn’t know how to use the technology for a video call or just owns a flip-phone
Where exactly are Jamie and Gary in this video?
Neville and Carra still breaking the Corona Virus rules, not staying at home and not 2metres apart
I'm just glad Cole wasn't as prolific at ManU as he was at Newcastle...
Keep these up, Sky, they are carrying your channel right now!
Solk and sheringham
Yorkey must of had a good bowl of Jordans Crisp that morning. 🤔😏
Front 3 of Ronaldo tevez and Rooney was something else
Yorke and Cole.
Jessi lingardinho and Phil jones-nesta

Rashford and Martial
Van Nistelrooy and his right foot
An over glorified tap in merchant
@@JR-iu8yl I don't even support Man United, RVN was one of the most complete forwards and lethal finishers in the premier League, ever. He scored 40+ goals a season....
@@JR-iu8yl salty rival fan
Van Nistelrooy is actually the best striker nobody talks about, 150 goals in 220 games, also carried a great goalscoring record in La Liga as well. He was overshadowed by Thierry Henry but his goalscoring record was actually better than Henry's...he had 0.68 goals every 90 minutes, whereas Henry's was 0.61 goals every 90 minutes. The problem is Van Nistelrooy only spent 5 seasons in the Premier League but he did more in one season than Henry ever did at Arsenal. Henry's highest scorest season is 33 goals which is still amazing, but Nistelrooy got 36 in his first season and 44 in his second.
@@JR-iu8yl I don't know what you were watching to come to that conclusion
No mention about RVP and Rooney
Thats because Neville didn't play with RVP, the question was who was the best he played with.
It was only one season. They were good for one season and that was RVPs first year. SAF retired and we all know what happened after that. Even during that one season, they werent has good as Yorke/Cole, Cantona/Hughes, Rooney/Tevez, Rooney/Berbatov. They could have been up there if SAF stayed but thats a different universe.
Unusual to see Carragher that close to a rival player
York and Cole and I’m not a United fan they were amazing
