    Thanks for doing these very informative videos. You are the only one I have seen use a trust rod cover. What is the reason for it? And thanks again.

      Thanks for the kind comments! Honestly, I'm just trying to find a method of securing the truss rod that I like; they all have pros and cons. This one is good as there is more gluing surface for the fingerboard, and the glue will not enter the truss rod cavity. The only problem I can see is that it requires the truss rod slot to be routed 1-2mm deeper (Which could be a problem if the neck profile is quite thin.) In my next build series, I use a completely different method!

    Does anybody know why he uses caulk in the truss rod cavity?
