One of the most cited examples of SpongeBob's charismatic and kind-hearted nature being brushed to the side for incredibly, justified anger and frustration. He does so much for others, but even characters as nice as him have limits.
The “Can You Spare A Dime?” episode is the one where SpongeBob just lost his cool. Like, he was optimistic at first, but he completely lost it at the end. 😅

As Seen on TV is a really underrated episode in my opinion. I think it really does a good job of showing off the funniest side of SpongeBob's personality.

@@Gamebuilder2000 There was one episode where Patrick wouldn't share this Krabby patty toy that Mr Krabs gave to him and SpongeBob to play with together and it ends with Patrick stealing SpongeBob's money to pay for a new one after he eats it so SpongeBob can't play with it. There's also this episode I saw years ago where Sandy does an experiment that involves SpongeBob and Patrick eating some ice cream but Patrick again doesn't want to share and at one point he uses his foot to smear it all over the floor just so SpongeBob can't eat any of it. There's also that episode where SpongeBob had to get an abrasive side just so he can finally start standing up for himself. That's how bad it's gotten. These writers REALIZE that SpongeBob is a doormat now and made a whole plot that revolves around that one fact.
And these are just the ones that I can remember. Every episode now just has SpongeBob acting fruity and getting walked on all over by people. It's so annoying. Meanwhile in this old episode, you got SpongeBob choking a mf out just for being hard headed. Lmfao

What REALLY happened to Mr. Krabs's dime: HE put the dime in his own pants HIMSELF for safe keeping. BUT he FORGOT the dime was in his pocket and, out of a mixture of greed and paranoia, blindly accused Squidward of stealing it. And now, being the stingy stubborn old crustacean that he is, Mr. Krabs is refusing to admit his own faults.
Man, only in a cartoon can a selfish, stubborn, arrogant, greedy character like Mr. Krabs exist.

Just letting you boys know. Since this is season 3, you're getting close to the end of the golden seasons, when Stephen Hillenburg was in charge. Seasons 4 and 5 have some good episodes but after that, the later seasons aren't that great. Old Spongebob was the best.
