@English Oak yeah I thought that I saw them at some Brighton gigs decades back, loved the music but didn't bother approaching them, I don't think they liked fans or whatever you'd call someone who appreciates the art!
Hi everybody just to let you know SFDB are still here sfdb.bandcamp.com/ or if you prefer the personal approach we are on twitter twitter.com/SFDBrecords
Danny Brown The lyrics are something like: "I'm the Highland pilgrim, born in the shadows of the buildings, walk through the depths of the buildings, dragged through the Valley of the Crows by a victim, back to the belly of the beast for a whipping, left side chained to an angelic vision, right side chained to Beelzebub's sibling, one foot in Heaven, the other Hell's Kitchen, split down the middle by a fatal decision, freedom's a prison, I'm living like a convict, to run through the cities and hide in the forest, and still feel the same old pain of being punished, I live for today like tomorrow ain't coming, warchild orphans playing in their ashes, street child orphans plagued by the Lashon, spectral to spectrum we scramble on guided, tangled in rumours, religions and silence, hanging from the pendulum, waiting for the death-bell, suffocated sentiments struggling to exhale, juggling the odds, weigh it up on a World scale, man must feel 'cos we know God's words fail . . . (CHORUS) You know we can go deep in the woods, or walk through the depths of the streets, and we still feel the same so we still feel the pain, the guilt and the shame, we drink till we drown and we still feel the same, it's the same old hustle, work and routine, from the Valley of the Crows to the belly of the beast . . . I was born under the stars in hard times, a ruffian, with dirt on his face and crime on his little mind, I rode a broken bike, I'm like Charlie Bucket, I had a golden ticket and I went and lost it, this ain't a fairytale, it's just the way it happened, dark shadows and dungeon environments, i feel like Hell's baby 'cos all around me suffers, collapse in alleyways, crossfire and bent coppers, asylum order brings dark like Mordor, listen to the wind, the World's about to end, my mind-state grey, overdosing on pavements, I lived the Estate life and wondered what life meant, I walked the path of the Ancients, Blood, from concrete to mud, pure pain lost in love bites, and all night I'll be watching as the zombies fight, killing one another, for that white rock, no shock no horror just the world we live in, I'm feeling like a prisoner and London is my prison, no shock no horror just the shit we live in, I'm feeling like a prisoner and London is my prison . . . (CHORUS)" apologies to Real Talk Records & farmajesus for any errors!
Chester P is great but Farma G is a fool. If you try and speak to him about his lyrics he spits he doesn't have a clue. I remember trying to speak to him about the New World Order and some other stuff he even mentions himself and I simply got a response "oh, Your one of those are you". He just follows Chester. Lost all respect for him
TheCosmicGypsies I don't think farma could have given a better answer brother. They are both lyrical and musical artist, amongst some of the best in the world. Not that I need to preach this. You already know.
Glad this exists!
In my opinion Chester P is one of the greatest poets in the U.K, his lyrics are art. His brother is also really good.
Undeniable!
Don't forget to give Farma G props

TheCosmicGypsies 5 years after the fact hahaha
This is honestly the response i would expect
Or you could just appreciate the music an his opinion on crap is irrelevant
The fact you say new world order vindicates him, just say jews.
