Just an update: please know I made this video when I was 13 and it was for a school project. It wasn’t meant to be a professional documentary. There were certain requirements for the project and that’s why the video is like this. I just decided to upload it to RUclips for fun
Thank you so very much. I left T'dad when I was 10 years old; over 56 years ago, but still identify strongly as a Trinidadian and refer to T& T, as home, despite not ever experiencing certain areas of the Island fully. Therefore, your film took me to parts of San Fernando, I have never seen. Your silent documentary spoke volumes, as it communicated so much. It informed us of the street and places we were seeing, with uninterrupted views of the city (without the distraction of people) and was beautifully scenic. A well thought-out project and I hope you get the recognition you deserve. The song choice added to the quality of your work. Congratulations on a great piece of work .
thank you. this brought back so many memories. I remember taking the bus from San Fernando to LaVentille. shopping on High Street. going to the market on Mucarapo street. playing mas in Skinners Park. Going to school at ASJA Girls.
I am a trini/canadian grew up in San Fernando and I thought the same thing. Some good pan music would be better, anyway it was great seeing the south especially the promanade, Sando hill. I went to Convent and spent a lot of tine eating good stuff from the vendors there, great memories...I have lived abroad for 50 years and travelled to over 32 countries but no place like TT for me
@@firekrueger3987 u wrong but right at the same time, some of them coming over here but this isnt a spanish country...but the rate dem spanish going...it will be soon🤣🤣🤣
True, Trinidad is near Venezuela, but is not a Latin country .. We speak English and a broken language " Patwa or Patois ." Trinidad is the most beautiful of all the caribbean ... Soca and Calyso are Trinidad's country music ... I'm from Maraval myself, but currently I'm living in Viet Nam with my Vietnamese wife and children ... So I'm Trinidadian raised in USA and now living in Viet Nam ... HaHaHaHa ...
I'm not saying that modern Trinidad is a Latin country. I'm saying that Spanish language and culture is part of Trinidadian history and culture. We should not act as if it was never spoken here in fact Spanish is still spoken by a minority of our people and it has been used on the island for a longer period of time than English. By the way, I speak Patois fluently.
very good video. would have been even better if music was soca or in English. I know san Fernando is a Spanish name but we talk English in Trinidad. even if Trinidad is a Spanish name also.
Big up San Fernando Girl's Anglican, where education began. Thinking it's because the song has San Fernando, maybe there is no soca about San Fernando🤷♀️.

Nice clip of San Fernando. I used to go almost every day to San Fernando during my stay in Trinidad in 1982/83.
thank you. this brought back so many memories. I remember taking the bus from San Fernando to LaVentille. shopping on High Street. going to the market on Mucarapo street. playing mas in Skinners Park. Going to school at ASJA Girls.
Mosquito creek change so much over the years but it is quite scary seeing the road and water at the same level makes u feel u driving on water

Very nice...music...
People complain about the music, the guy loves the song, leave him alone, I'm latin 💯 and love soca/calipso.
The music is nice...Saint Ferdinand/San Fernando
Sando is a nice place. It's always good to get away from the city but I always get confused and lost when I go down there.
This ain't a latin country...WTF
It is now lol
Then let's cut out parang!
Coulda used some soca music, this ain't a latin country.
It is a city with Latin history and heritage. All of Trinidad has a Hispanic past. Spain ruled Trinidad longer than England (200+years).

San Fernando A.k.a "Sando."
I'm from San Fernando. Everything and I mean everything is easily accessible.
san farnando Trinidad and Tobago best city in the South
l thought San Fernando was only hills? yuh lie -- and thank the lord, you eh play on jam-and-wind back-ground music--what a pleasant miracle
Nice but.what happen to the people did you stop them from comming out so you could do this doc

Thanks for the video tour. I'm going to repost it on my FB Group page called Caribbean Ohio. Hope you don't mind.
apache jai your welcome! And yes...you can repost it! Thank you very much!
Hi
This was a nice video, but I had to turn off the sound because that music was very, very annoying!
Trinis are the most friendliest of all in the carribean..........fab place and people
what song did you use bro
The name of the song is "San Fernando"
+Shiv 500
thanks
Did I see a Best Buy logo in San Fernando ?
The only thing you don't see in Trinidad is snow
Rolson Alleyne no bb here
What's with the Spanish music, we are west indians, not Hispanic.
why not? this was hispanic first, know your history.
@@StefanoTonino Spanish were invaders, it was Carib first. Spanish speakers have no greater claim than English. Clear off with that music.
i love san farnando
I love ❤️❤️❤️ the music.🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
? Why spanish music and not local music?
Courts furniture store looks like tha same as off FIJI Too
Big up San Fernando Girl's Anglican, where education began. Thinking it's because the song has San Fernando, maybe there is no soca about San Fernando🤷♀️.
