Women doing play-by-play football announcing is exactly like a white male over 50 doing play-by-play for child delivery, practical PMS techniques, and methods for dealing with menopause. It should never be done. ("No standing" is the legal term for it.) Totally detracts from the game. Congrats to both teams who made it worth watching this game.
While I generally agree women should never commentate sports (or play sports for that matter), I actually don’t mind this woman announcer, apart from a couple cringe remarks like when Woodill scored the touchdown. Her voice reminds me of Beth Mowins who I’m really “nostalgic” for when she’d call Big Ten games
