I love how the background shows Rugal lying dead on the ground. Akuma kills Rugal with his Raging Demon, but before he dies, Rugal gives Akuma the Orochi power to merge with Akuma's Satsui No Hado power. The boss fight against Shin Akuma should have shown Rugal lying dead on the ground
This is what most players at the Arcade would have heard fighting this game as the fight with Rugal was an extremely rare unlock. When he said the words "Die a thousand Deaths" in this game he meant it a LOT more than he usually does now with the rare exception of "Sirn Akuma" which I felt should have been a permanent boss battle.
Ha HA HA HA HA HA HA, I won the first time i fought him, you probably didn't have ryu and evil ryu on your team or you difficulty level was too high to beat the CPU. A 100 TIMES wOw!
@@TheEndokuken I usually use Akuma, but on some attempts I did use Ryu and Evil Ryu and yet I still beat him using Regular Akuma. And if you ask, difficulty at that time was set to 3 stars, the default difficulty setting. But I wouldn't be surprised if the game secretly set the difficulty to the highest when you get to either God/Utimate Rugal or Shin Akuma. Almost forgot to mention I'm a casual player and I was like 13 at the time. I'm now 17, which is not really long ago, but in the middle, like a little bit long a little bit short. But later I was able to beat him sometimes on the 8 stars difficulty, the highest difficulty setting you can set in the game. And I guess you are either lucky or a really good fighting game player, I'm just a casual player so it's not that surprising that I lost to him like 100 times

Finally a boss that achieve where i can't. beat my father and it was lovely to see him frustrated. although he beat shin after 57 tries.

Holy fuck, this battle gives me PTSD. I must have lost against Akuma like 100 times before finally defeating him for the first time
