- 1998 Opel Omega B1. It had been sitting for about 8 years until now. The engine had a rough and weak idling, along with several issues indicating a bad head gasket. Tidied up things aswell, while I was at it.
Decided to give this car some love. It's running like new again! - Авто/Мото
Yo tengo un vectra b del 96, de igual motor X20XEV. Realice las mismas mejoras que a tu vehículo y quedó excelente, son muy buenas máquinas!!
Nice! They are great machines indeed.
Hej snyggis var hitta du denna musikeN?
How much time did it take?
Probably around 30-40 hours of work in total. Did alot of finicky stuff in addition to the head gasket replacement, though.
@@bkorven slow as fuck , thats few hours of work
How is your E420 doing ?
It's in excellent condition, but it's being stored at the moment. I'm in the final stages of my education, so I will hopefully soon take it out again! A bit too expensive to have registered and running for me, right now.
@@bkorven let that beast sleep for a while...lol
@@bkorven I'm considering to buy E420 or S420 around 200,000km driven here in The Netherlands, but im curious about the reliability of that engine around that millage. What are your thoughts on reliability of this V8 engine? Thanks.
@@shabeezaidi6812 Nice! Mine has actually just passed 200 000 km, and it has been super reliable all the time. And still is! Glow plug light goes on and off from time to time, so that's something I need to investigate. It's the only engine related problem I can think of I've ever had, and I'd say it's a minor one!
