This allows him to learn techniques at a faster rate of progression than a regular shonen side-character. The whole reason I feel like they added Nanami’s Black Flash record was to show how extremely hard it is in general to even do this move and how rare it is that Yuji was able to continuously connect them without any hesitation-literally after being taught like an episode beforehand.
I love how this anime shows characters getting jumped. Normally in shōnen anime they land hits in turns, but here Yuuji and Toudou just clap Hanami like some sort of gang initiation.

I’m not super close with my older brother, but we’ve actually bonded over this series. Jujutsu Friday’s are filled with lots of yelling, theory crafting, and laughter (if Todo isn’t impressing us with his skills he has us laughing our heads off).
I love the fact that to get rid of people criticising it on the basis of "why would you tell your opponent how your ability works?" That your cursed technique is stronger if you explain it.
and it makes total sense too with how curses work in JJK in general, since they're pooled energy from humans' fears, perceptions and bad emotions, being mentally aware of a cursed technique makes it more powerful

This is literally (down to the same color scheme of his clothes) an anime of an average Devil May Cry fight. They really introduced precise-frame-inputs as a cannon thing in this world.
Man, itadori hitting 4 too is so good. Nanami said "i hit 4, but i was just lucky" meaning he also had some kind of help, and is just a humble good person. I can see Itadori saying the exact same thing if someone would ask him in the future. They are so similar in that regard.
The best part is, Todo really does have a 530,000 IQ, to properly use that move. On a technical level, Hanami has an advantage over boogie woogie, since she has a long range and sweeping attacks. If it were just a matter of landing hits, Hanami would just have to aim for Itadoris rough center mass, and then every hit would be guaranteed, since Todo is bigger. But Todo is using the swaps to prevent Hanami from _defending,_ not attacking. As he said, abilities are worthless if you can't activate them. Todo being almost twice Itadoris size means that they attack from totally different angles, so Hanami has to try and guess which one is going to hit them in advance, and this is where Todo really shines. He's getting into her head and staying a step ahead of her predictions, even spicing it up with feints to keep the pattern from becoming predictable.
What a simple ability that is so satisfying to watch be used. This power system almost reminds me of Nen from HxH in terms of complexity and the ability to add drawbacks to abilities to make them stronger. Its extremely entertaining to watch.
Yuuji is such a great MC imo, he is like everything i wanted Naruto to be when i was little. He is kind, friendly, strong and keeps working hard while also caring so much about others
