The 991 generation Porsche 911 Carrera is pure motoring bliss, especially when equipped with the excellent 7 speed manual gearbox. There is nothing quite like rowing your own gears in this rear engined, rear wheel drive heir to the Porsche purist throne.
The soundtrack from the optional sport exhaust is totally worth the extra dough. It pops, burbles and wails away at your command, though it does urge you to regularly bury your foot on the go pedal. This is truly a car that you have great control over but at times it feels like it has control over you. I wouldn't have it any other way.
