So for males there is Bass, then Baritone, Tenor, and Countertenor. There’s also basso profundo, which goes before the bass. Woorim is a basso profundo/bass, his vocal cords are much thicker, naturally his tessitura goes very low but his good with his higher register too, it’s amazing the sound of a bass when they are in the baritones and tenors register, its unique. Doohoon is a baritone but his technique let him sing comfortably in the tenors register. Hyungho is the Countertenor, this means that his tessitura and range reaches the range of Sopranos, Countertenors has thinner vocal cords and are much flexible, so when they sing they can produce higher sounds because their vocal cords gets thinner. Mingyu is leggero tenor, which means that he has a lighter tenor voice type and his tessitura is also a bit higher. In the case of women, they have Alto/ Contralto, then Mezzo - Soprano, and then Sopranos. Both female and male voice type scales that I’ve mentioned are in the order from the lowest tessitura to the highest. 😊❤
