All I can say is I don't know who had harder time keeping a straight face and not laughing. Me, because my bf is asleep, while I'm BINGE watching the copters & tooters, lady parts Donald ducking while my guardian angel is clearly doing on the job training as he gives me a women's crotch wedge. I did not have the same experiences. Literally tho. Face deep in pillows to muffle my outbursts of laughter.

She definitely has that rare "Gilda Radner" quality in comedy that is innate and cannot be taught. Jan Hooks, Cheri Oteri, Kristen Wiig , Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and maybe a couple of others also had it. It's also why nearly every skit they were in was funny and somewhat memorable with so many shows in 40+ years to choose from.. Not to mention they could all revive a dying sketch just by virtue of just being themselves and doing what they do. SNL is going on season 41 and out of all the female players, it's always that same handful of names that have sustained the show. The same can be said for the guys as well. Right now, for me, Kate is the only reason I tune in to SNL.

That line wasnt improvised, literally nothing on SNL is improv except the one segment where they sing a song together making up lyrics as they go.

I saw a clip of Kate and Aidy talking about who makes them crack, and they both said each other. Makes me laugh seeing their skits together and watching them struggle to stay in character

This is one of the pinnacles of comedy. Brilliant writing and perfect execution!
Cecily never gets credit for her charm and writing. She never cracks, and I always like seeing her in sketches.
That said, Kate is still a frickin gem.

Even Cecily Strong came close, and she's a consummate pro. That's how good Kate McKinnon is, a comedian's comedian.
I think she's probably the best one at that since Alec Baldwin. I know he still guests, but I think Kate is near his level there. I mean, even Baldwin was visibly trying not to giggle at Schweddy Balls, and they have had to have rehearsed that a zillion times. (Hopefully Molly Shannon took care of that rat problem, though.)

Can we all acknowledge how much of a pro Cecily Strong is for not cracking once in this skit and the alien skit? Kate is absolutely brilliant, but Cecily not cracking even when Kate was groping her while making dog noises is an incredible feat.

Ryan Gosling's Alien Encounter was better but this was pretty good.
I'm fairly ancient so I was watching SNL from when it first started. There have been a few seasons that I gave up after a few shows and didn't start watching again until there was a new cast. Recently I discovered through RUclips clips that I have been missing some great talent so I have several seasons to catch up on.
That's actually a common way to watch SNL: taking a break if you don't like the cast.
