I'm very familiar with the early Broncos. The last one i did was a frame on restoration. Just a nice driver is all he wanted. I patched the rust in the usual spot...under the hood by the cowl panel. I made all the replacement panels myself, bodyworked everything, then painted it a burnt orange. Turned out really nice. Another one I did, the customer wanted to put his rear quarters back to stock since the previous owner had cut them for a much bigger tire. I hand formed the rear body lines and put it back to looking stock ,uncut.
Love the Blazer, nice work. Fireman sent me.
Thanks for watching!
The primer you used has just the slightest gloss to it. Unusual. Is that the new PPG Epoxy/Hi Build or???
Yes, it ppg vibrance line. It's a epoxy high build vp2050. Sands super nice and you can hose it on to cover up deep pits/scratches.
I have a 68 Bronco in need of restoration. What is your experience with 1st gen Broncos?
