People who are getting amazed over the behaviour and setup of the MP, this is how it works here. No barrage of security, no special arrangements, no pomp and glitter. Few days back, I bumped into the Minister of Defence, Mr. Harjit Singh Sajjan on the streets of Vancouver, he was just with an associate of his and had no security guards at all. Leave everyone else, even the PM doesn’t have any security guards deployed outside his house. And let me tell you the reason why they don’t need it, because they do what they say, they actually work for the people and their betterment here, unlike India where everything they say before the elections is referred to as jumlas afterwards. That is why in India they need security to protect themselves from the boots and slaps of the common people.
