I was really intrigued to test out explosive payload + frenzy, but to my surprise my shiny midnight coup with explosive payload + kinetic tremors rolled with frenzy as another option!
Me too! Got Attrition Orbs next to EP to pair with KT too! I'm pretty much done farming for it now lol.

Firefly may not be the best, but in low level content it completely shreds through adds. Pair it with Frenzy for the extra damage, and even Majors+ will go down quickly, and take everything around them out.

The only problem with Guillotien is that there are other, equal power meta swords, and the previous version of it is still a contender when it comes to damage. The only bonus is that this guillotien will get enhanced perks.

Thank you for saying this! A lot of God Roll videos only talk about numbers and percentages and don't acknowledge that some perks really require you to change up your playstyle like One for All. I'm not bellow learning new techniques, but I don't feel like remembering to do a little quirk with some random roll weapon like hitting separate targets or crouching before I reload to get the full benefit.
With one for all , ya just shoot . That's it . No thought or play style change . Same with frenzy if you're close enough to the enemies .so many great rolls you can't go wrong .
what play style change is there with ofa not shooting the enemies? theres no play style change literally just shoot
@@chinochimp With one for all your forced to change targets to hit 3 different enemies to get it to proc. With any other roll you can focus the same targets head untill till its dead and then transfer to the next target. In the time your transfer between enemies you could of killed that add and had less enemies shooting you at once.
@@Danger597 theres like a 4 second timer between needing to hit the shots for ofa. you kill one enemy, then a second, then a third, and now you have a 35% damage buff for 10 seconds. if its taking you more than 4 seconds to kill an enemy and move on to the next then you shouldnt be using your primary anyway you should be using a special or heavy
For easy content firefly+OFA is insane
Definitely love midnight coup. I have many rolls for many builds. Currently rocking EP + DM on my Midnight Coup with arrowhead brake and flared magwell on a reload mw. The build is a contraverse voidlock. Grenades and explosions everywhere. Im using Telesto even though the BiS energy void will always be Buried Bloodline. Midnight Coup will be the star of the show.

Afaik LP doesn't boost explosive payload's portion of the shot..
You know 100 extra spots in the vault is awesome but it's still not enough I wish they would let you keep a vote on your own personal hard drive that you could swap in and out of the Game Vault
Any of the choices are good. But i do disagree with your take on explosive payload and one for all, respectively. The mob density is way more dense than it ever used to be so procing one for all is so easy and damage bump is hugely noticeable and you will proc it way more than you realize. Plus when you have explosive payload, you can easily hit two targets with one shot more often than not. Explosive payload and Frenzy is also a great roll as well and i have both. Still looking for that explosive payload and kinetic tremors roll.
You know my opinion you are hands down the best reviewer of weapons, abilities , yada yada yada. I know when you review something you can pretty much take it to the bank
I think Shoot To Loot + Kinetic Tremors is really good, especially for those of us who aren't elite level players.
I'm not trying to solo anything from that far with any kind of hand cannon my dear , by the time I'm done with one yellow bar id be walking with a cane 😂

Honestly? For content with really high add density and high health targets I do think Explosive + One for All is the way to go. Since you're not going to be killing targets in one shot with frenzy and tremors won't really activate on anything short of a high health target it's going to be active very frequently and do MORE damage while active. It is a change in playstyle for most people but I think it might be the most mathematically optimal roll.
Yup that’s why her take that OFA is good for easy content makes no sense. One for all is one of the best end game perks.
i agree with your comment and also the testing is cool but also skewed, you dont play gm's like that put on a legit loadout and use the weapon in distances that you would normally use it. one for all is an end game perk, anytime you are not relying on a "kill" activation perk is superb for endgame.
Kenetic tremors just does a loooot of damage so a 35% damage increase doesn't come close to kenetic tremors I promise it's that good and area damage and flinch like explosive Payload
i actually have a shiny one with firefly and one for all and its so easy to proc one for all the time
See I prefer Firefly on this gun because I see it as an add clear gun. I still think Adept Warden's Law is the go to for heftier targets if you have it. I'll collect both though for whatever situation.
I'm gonna have to disagree that EP+Frenzy is the godroll for difficult content. At 8:42 you took 11 shots at a red bar Centiurion and it still did not die. With EP+Kinetic Tremors, that Centurion, along with any trash mobs around it, would've died.
I agree with you. Firefly sucks big balls! Explosive payload and Kinetic Tremor is the best combo as of right now for the 140 rpm HC King.
What the heck?!? Incorrect Maven. OFA is ABSOLUTELY an high level tier perk!!! It’s literally easier to maintain than freakin Frenzy are you insane?? AND ITS MORE THAN DOUBLE THE DAMAGE BONUS OF FRENZY!!! It’s absolutely S-Tier on this gun, with Explosive Payload.
You don’t have to “kill” anything, simply tag 3 targets, which is EASY to accomplish in end game content…ads are EVERYWHERE. Then BAM +35% more damage instantly. It’s crazy easy.
If you are talking about “boss damage” on a boss that has no minions around…my question to you is - why the heck are you using a primary on said boss in the first place?!? That +15% boos from Frenzy ain’t helping you much against that boss either. So switch weapons.
You needed corrected on 2 HUGE things, OFA and Firefly… because Firefly is absolutely bonkers as well, especially with our current artifact.
First of all, the best pve HC is not a kinetic. Zaoulis is the best legendary HC in the game, fatebringer is 2nd, then we can talk about midnight coup. Stats are considerably lower than fatebringer. I always run backup mag on my fatebringer and get 14, you just dont need a damage spec, if you need extra damage just go with a kinetic surge... you already have explosive and frenzy. midnight coup also sounds really annoying.

From (Timelost) to (Get Lost), I totally agree with your choices. I do still need the Frenzy roll but there's plenty of time and Attunement really works. Cheers for all you do.

Absolutely. Her Void Hunter Gambit Guide got me Malfeasance within 2 hours of me watching it like she deserves my firstborn child and my house.
desperate measures proceed 20% dmg from just un-powered melee and 30% off 2, and it last 7secs and can be refreshed of weapon kills.
perk is s-tier
While I appreciate your final analysis in the Hypernet, I'm not so sure it's a relevant use case.
Against solar-shielded Cabal, I think most people would use, in order of preference (and depending on artifact mods), Skyburner, Sunshot, Polaris Lance, Ticcu's Divination, or even Prometheus' Lens. I don't know anyone who would use a kinetic HC in that situation.
Now, if it were the Birthplace of the Vile, or one of the coil pathways where there are a ton of isolated, mid-range engagements, with unshielded, hard-to-crit adds (like Vex) and plenty of cover...
Great video but I cant help but feel like this hand cannon sucks in PvE. Your primary weapon should be for killing red bars and there are MUCH better options out there.
The hand cannon is great for red bars, better than fate bringer even, but you need to avoid using kinetic tremors.
I don’t know why RUclipsrs are hyping up this perk on a hand cannon.
Use firefly/explosive payload + one for all. Trust me. It does more damage than fatebringers best two pve roles, and focuses on red bar clearing.
One for all might seem odd, but explosive payload and firefly can both easily proc it on demand, and after activating the perk, it’s a free 35% increase in damage for 10 seconds. It also requires zero kills too so it scales well in grand masters.
One for all > frenzy on this trust me.
I got a shiny with Explosive Payload, Kinetic Tremors, and Frenzy, so I'm pretty much set
I've been using Seraph revolver with timed payload. For a 180 it feels very good.

Firefly is a weak pearl unless is combined with an elemental reaction like incandescent or volatile. In this weapon is useless I have it and it's baaaaaad

Good review. Short, to the point, none of that extra crap some youtubers like to add in to hedge and try not to upset people (lookin at you, coolguy 😂). That said, I completely disagree with almost everything she said, lol. I'm going STL-KT all day. If I get a EP-Fr roll, I won't discord it but it's not likely to see a huge amount of use because in mid-level content I'm almost always running ability spam builds (so something like osmosis or demolitionist is gonna be my go to) and in GMs I'll always be taking STL-KT for the ammo and orbs at that nice safe distance.
I spent hrs and hrs and hrs chasing the Firefly, One for all. And when I finally got it it doesnt feel near as good as my Explosive Payload, One for All. Its hard to beat the 35% dmg buff. And in something like Onslaught it's so easy to keep One for All procked. Much Much easier than I originally expected. I get what you're saying about frenzy's uptime. But I honestly feel like one for all being over double the dmg and being easy as hell to prock might equate to more dmg overall. Def Needs testing tho.
Objection your honor why would I ever once in my existence use a kinetic weapon in pve when I could use.*Ahem*. Sunshot, Zaouli’s Bane, Subjunctive(are smg fkr the undying weapons collection at riven this season, stats for all+voltshot, yo ur welcome for the heads up), gravtitrons lance, trinity ghoul, Quicksilve storm despite the nerf like in no universe ever would I use an add clear primary that has no form of strong aoe. The only reason you even bother with the coup is if your running an add clear weapon(like forbearance) in the energy slot and needed a hard hitting primary in your kinetic slot. Enter the coup with explosive payload and kenetic+tremors.
Going to have to agree to disagree on the Explosive Payload + One For All roll. The splash from EP can and will proc OFA. Especially when chunking away at a Major. Minors usually huddle around majors and I’ve splashed them a lot over the past few days instantly procing OFA.

GOOD: I've gotten 4 shiny HC to drop, 2 of them from the same 10 wave chests after boss
BAD: all 4 have been trash no tremors, no firefly, no explosive,nothing, only good perk is rampage.
I appreciate the game mode and grind but I'm to the point where I'm tired of grinding and getting trash = don't want to play that mode for my time can be invested elsewhere
love the Brave lore fanges. but the true god rolls weapons from D1 still havent been released. SO If , and IF Bungie does a double down releases for those true one in thousand weapons in the TFS , i wont be suprised. that was the kick off for D2 . Are we on a kick off for new D3 , who knows but...
for those in back... right before D1 ended , they added a scout riflle , Treads Upon Stars with explosive payload, kill clip and rampage , and all perks would overlap with damage . if you looked at it , it got deleted, yellow bars deleted in a few shots. On aside note scout rifles as primary with D2 are our undercurrent . What was our biggest change with undercurrent in the recent sandbox, GLS ! long live the naid fantasy lol .

Hey! What's your thoughts on perk pooling effects. Frenzy activate every weapons perk in your inventory. Would that be worth while?
This makes me feel a little less bad about farming the entire week and dumping over 400 tokens into the chest without getting one single EP/OFA roll to drop.
EP/Frenzy does go hard. But I have always been a OFA enjoyer.
Midnight isn’t killing fate bringer. They both have advantages. Origin trait vs adept mods plus you get 4 talents with timelost fb

Nah, no rip Fatebringer, I like the feel of the FB still. In fact I used my Firefly / Explosive PL roll to get the MC. It's still great but I understand that a large portion of the D2 population doesn't have that FB with that exact roll so this is much easier for the masses. Love your vids.
@@Boltman35 Explosive Payload Firefly is anti synergy. The split damage takes away from your potential to pickup a precision kill to proc Firefly. It works out for easy content though.
@MavenPhoenix VOG Weapons will be craftable eventually and I bet Bungie is going to juice up Fatebringer when content is stale again.

Explosive and Frenzy is best for me... tied to well damage boost and double kinetic damage boost,frenzy proc .... the absolute best roll FOR ME. Try it

Best??? Idk about that. It lacks build craft synergy except for kinetic tremble and attrition orb combo. Sun shot, nation of beast, zaouli bane, and more hard to say best. It can be argued for slot yeaaaah but this season honestly i rather use eyasulna with headstone due to this season stasis plus again synergy with stasis especially when i use cadmus ridge combine with headstone. Only time i use midnight coup is a when im on my arc titan but arc this season and since superman super is bugged arc titan is dead. Midnight coup is a great gun just idk if its the bessssst.
I've never been able to put into words why I dislike One for All, but 3:49 explains it perfectly.
I just think Rampage is easier to proc than either OFA or KT. I know Ranpage starts with less of a bonus, but I would think it would have more overall uptime than any of the damage boosters due to ease of use
Frenzy needs a buff. It seems like an eternity just to get extra 15% damage and handling buff.
Cut the wait time down to 6 or 7 seconds.

Imo exp + tremors is a wasted role. If an enemy takes 6 shots or more, you are using the wrong weapon.
Fierefly + OFA for low content seems to be the best. Ad-clear + dmg boost
Even though Midnight Coup is undoubtedly one of the best legendary kinetic primaries, I still just can't bring myself to use, well... Legendary kinetic primaries. The global +15% DMG really doesn't make up for the lack of subclass synergy and the absolutely pitiful elemental shield damage. If I am running a GM, I'm just going to use an Exotic as my workhorse or use double special. Hell, with the likes of Indebted Kindness I really have to force myself to use legendary primaries at all these days. My Supremacy lives rent-free in my kinetic slot.

This is super late but one for all + firefly has been incredible for me, get a fast reload with a precision kill and if the blast from firefly hits other targets, +35% damage for a solid time.
Actually you can proc something called one for all times 2 off of just two enemies or you could just go back and forth between two enemies if they're really far away from one another , but when does that ever happen ?
Why not the best of both with Firefly + KT? You'll get good add clear on trash mobs with firefly and good dmg for beefier targets with KT

6:40 what? How does a perk that does less dmg to single target, lacks aoe dmg, and has more susceptibility to fall off better for adds vs kinetic tremors? Please enlighten me on how frenzy is better aside from reload speed which if that was a factor it would have done more dmg in the test. Did you mean to say kinetic tremors is better and misspoke 3 times?
Ok later in the video you elaborated and said because it takes less than 6 shots. If theres nothing but red bars sure youre correct in this. Most scenarios and especially in gms there will be yellow bars, minibosses, and champions you want to get tremors popped to dmg the other adds with. If you just have a bunch of red bars lets be real you will just dump a gl shot i to them and be done with it. Also the time it takes for frenzy to activate those red bars will be dead. You can land 6 shots on a yellow bar to hit the red bars with tremors before frenzy activates. So i guess it depends on what youre doing.

Personally Ive always been a big proponent of OFA, I was a bit surprised to learn you didnt like it! I can see the logic in your reasoning though, it makes sense. As much as I love my EP/Frenzy Fatebringer, I think Im still gonna set my sights on a Firefly/OFA roll for Midnight Coup, just for something different but still effective. I'll definitely keep an eye out for a good Kinetic Tremors roll for GMs tho, that looks killer. Thanks for showing the weapons in action so thoroughly!
Exactly what cool guy recommends. Firefly works fantastically with it as the explosions will activate it plus then the explosions are buffed from OFA!!
I find it funny that she says it changes your playstyle. That’s not true. You can naturally shoot enemies and OFA will be up almost all the time especially with explosive payload.

KT plus AO (aside from KT/FF) is probably the most "all rounder" combo for this gun. I've never been a fan of damage perks on weapons as the way D2 is spaced out, a lot of times the damage perks will fall off (unless you're raiding, or doing battlegrounds or similar with HD ads). Getting a free orb or two via shooting beefier targets is worth more to me than being able to kill trash ads quicker; also, the KT stuns/staggers most enemies in the game three times when it procs.
I use Kinetic tremors shoot to loot. It’s soooo good.

I really like firefly + Kinect tremors for medium level content because of the easy ad clear and also being able to deal with yellow bars. But I do understand that for harder content you're absolutely right

Alloy mag Maven!! It’s a reload scalar instead of a flat increase to the reload stat. You’re already going to be having frenzy up and dumping all shots in your mag into either ads or a major.
