its her art i mean her style, darkness but maybe shes better but in th moment to writte or somethin she goes more for that way, at least mine is less sad
I think her confronting the sadness or pain is her way of then transforming it into a song that we can also connect to and through us sorta relating to it that probably helps her.

I think Alice was the soul of CC. Ethan maybe a good producer but without alice's raw, edgy voice, and personality, CC is just boring.
I like Alice Glass new stuff, it's different from CC, it's just... SO RAW. Like it. White lies, forgiveness, stillbirth... just keep going ! XO LOVE YOU from Paris
Alice isn't even featured on CC's best material. The reason CC isn't as good is because Ethan is simply past his prime IMO. The only debate that could be had is that if CC w/ Edith was better live than CC w/ Alice, which IMO Edith was a far better performer.
@@plinkertonman i disagree. Alice was equally part of the band as ethan. And she contributed to built the aesthetic and image of the band at the beginning. Edith is a good performer ok, but she just copy the style of Alice to fit the band (it's easier when you the band is already famous and all) and I think the old song doesn't fit Edith . Char is her best work at vocals. But it doesn't beat celestica or baptism or empathy which are more Alice's. These are cc's best material
