I have a shop light that fits on top of a DeWalt battery and it includes USB-A and USB-C outputs. Very handy but most of these things you find on Amazon are made in China with crappy electronics that will drain and even damage the battery if you leave them attached. If you can remember to remove them after use they are great. Really at the inflated prices they charge all DeWalt batteries should include USB out and USBC in charging. I think it would make them very popular in their own right.
the exciting adapter is the one that sits on the battery and has USB-C INPUT at up to 100 Watts using the Power Delivery protocol. With the actual genuine brand product, you can leave it clipped in and not worry about self-drain or overcharge. we are *happy* to pay DeWalt's inflated prices for the Quality we get. at the same price point, gaining USB connectivity in every battery pack would mean losing some Quality. it makes more sense for now and for the forseeable future to offload the USB function onto a piggyback specialty component. there are too many batteries that don't need that extra feature.
It only outputs 18W, which was fine in about 2016. Samsung phones charge at 45W. For the same money, buy 4 regular power banks instead and if one breaks, you have 3 left.
*_I've really been enjoyiong you're videos on these new electronic gadgets... they're awesome! I'm glad you finaly found Niche that works for you Flint!_*
Better to buy dewalt battery adapter with light and 2 USB slots on the side. Cost less and you can change phone few times and flashlight for minimum 8-10 nights. Not to mention that you can use same battery for power tools.
Thank you for the review! Wish I had known about this a few weeks ago. I was looking for a power pack for my hunting gear. I love Dewalt tool! I'd like to know how it holds up after some time of use!
The reason for USB-A to USB-C is probably for compatibility to wall outlets that offer USB-A ports to charge with. Some now have USB-C, but those are more rare for now....
Hey Clinton that translates to 10 amps of Power. To be used in charging a cellphone Battery which normally has between 2000 Man(2 amps)~ 5000Mah(5 amps 5 charges to 2 charges respectively 🔋🏏
Honestly - it's about middling as far as power banks go. You can get a 24,000 mAh battery from Anker for like 2x the price. So you get like 2.5x the capacity for 2x the price....unless you wait and find it on sale. AND the Anker does mag safe charging for iPhones, which doesn't require any wires and it's fast charging!! Ruggidness is obviously a positive for Dewalt but I don't know how many people are going to bang that crap around. Treat your battery bank like you treat your women....real nass like.
I smeeshed the👍button. I guess that I’m the only one who leaves my cell phone in the house while I’m working outside. 👏👏for making this video entertaining. Also the best part was using Ry-o-bee cord😆
For the price you can get a anker 20,000 may I will stick to my anker products they have a better warranty the dewalt is nice for the fan boys though Clint @Tool Review Zone
Brother if you are charging your S23 Ultra with a 19watt 🤣 charger you are truly missing out and doing that phone a great disservice! I charge mine with a 45w charger and get a full battery (from zero) in less than 1hr...
It looks rugged, but I'm not sure why I'd buy this at $60 (or even $50) when you can get a normal one for $10 with very similar specs, and then just put in a protective sleeve or something... the specs make sense given it is just meant to charge a phone, I just don't think the rugged case is worth $40 or so.
i have quite a bit of experience with different battery packs in a few different fields, i know for a fact there is no way they fit 10,000 mah in that size of a bank. 4,000 mah would even be a squeeze
The carabiner aspect already hella as me sold. Because that is the real nice like part that no one... NO ONE..... has.... lol well maybe but still for jobsite it makes sense and I'll buy one when I got the extra money. No more walking off-site with a dead phone blasting music and RUclips.
While I admit Dewalt had pretty decent cables and.the powerboats work well. I have been using their cables for quite awhile and the power banks are not new they have been in Home Depots.up here for atleast a year to year and a half. The USB-C I have in my work van is going on 2 years Now cause I bought it right after I got my current phone which just hit 2 years this month (I can now upgrade woo hoo) and I got my power bank maybe 4 months or so.later
Does this jump start cars? Didn't look like that. This is cool but would go with a portable power bank Jump Starter that have the same durability and higher specs to take care of your car, electronic device accessories, computer, and more. Many of those appear to be more or less the same size as this DeWalt power bank.
I have the dual USB adapter that slides onto the battery. But, I prefer the wireless battery bank with built in lightning, type c, micro USB charging cables so I never have to look for a cable
I love your videos but you’re missing the ball on this one. You’re clearly not a tech guy because the charging power on this, for that price, really isn’t that great. There are plenty of other rugged powerbanks that do it better for cheaper. Unless you really want it for the Dewalt brand/yellow, don’t buy this.
You can bank on that being tough. However I am sure that many won’t be charged up about the price. To me it’s pretty good. However I know there’s some penny pinching folks out there
Yawn, title should just read "dewalt battery bank review". Nothing really "cool" about it. Love my dewalt tool kit, but a battery bank is not on the kit menu. Amazon has many better and cheaper battery banks. If dewalt wants to do something cool they should release a 20 volt battery to wall outlet converter so when their crappy battery's wear out after a year I can at least still use the drill as a corded one instead.
I bought one of these at Lowe’s in 2021. Absolutely solid power bank. I like it a lot
I've been abusing a couple of these for a few months and haven't had any issues.
Plus, their USB cables are really tough.
A solid buy.
Thx . I abuse the crap out of my tools and phones .
For those who already have DeWalt power tool batteries(18/54 volts), USB adaptors are available for charging other compatible devices.
Dewalt and Black and Decker are the same Company

These have been out for over a year. I have 3-4 of them, they are fantastic.
Me too
How is it you managed to make just a battery bank video entertaining? Love your videos.
Hahaha, appreciate you Amanda 👊👊👊
I watched this because of your comment, and you were right!
It only outputs 18W, which was fine in about 2016. Samsung phones charge at 45W. For the same money, buy 4 regular power banks instead and if one breaks, you have 3 left.
I like the adapter that slides on all of my tool batteries and lets me use them as battery banks. They are real nice like.

Thank you Vance . I am sure one of these days, you will also start making videos that I might enjoy. It's doubtful, but I continue to be hopeful

That’s cool, it sure survives those drops better than that cheap-o power bank I got on Amazon. It slipped out of my hand once and opened right up.
If you're going to buy cheap chargers, make sure you also invest in good smoke alarms and insurance.

That is super Compact For a 10,000 Mah battery Bank
Wait a minute. Are you on this powerbank etc streak to make sure no-one misses your vids?
Cheers Clint, you’re a good bloke.
USB C and a 3.0 USB A Port nice
I highly recommend the Anker USB-C to USB-C cable 643, it’s rated at 100W. 💪🏽
Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏽 👍🏽
Anker is definitely real nass like, and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!!
Ordered one through your link. It seems pretty solid
Let me know how you like it brother 👊👊👊
How many charges do u get one of it
Cool!
Fun Fact: A GFCI device trips at between 4-6 milliamperes. Anything higher than that could kill you. Not kidding.
Extremely interesting. Thanks for the feedback brother 👊
Thank you for the review!

I was really hoping that in the box was a cheesesteak
That's a full wall of stuff behind you Clint.
You can find those battery banks at Ross and TJ max for like $10. This is cool tho because I like dewalt tools.
Milwaukee should make one of these and put the plug for the heated gear on it so can have a flat battery
That would be awesome 👌
try USB red lithium, not bad, they have charger as well
@@costavong6018 ya that wouldn’t work in the heated gear. The m12 heated gear anyway. I think They do have a base layer that runs on those.
Fun Fact
Dewalt and Black and Decker are the same Company
This is a pretty cool Gadget
Ill be getting my S23 next week
?
Nice Samsung s23 ultra love the green Clint @Tool Review Zone
I love my Dewalt Bluetooth speaker, it gives me the option to charge my phone.
Milliamp hour to amp hour isn't that hard right? Isn't 10,000mAh just equal to 10Ah or have I missed something technical?
You are correct, would it be pretty easy to translate it to a 9v for people that aren't as genius as you
Hey Clinton that translates to 10 amps of Power. To be used in charging a cellphone Battery which normally has between 2000 Man(2 amps)~ 5000Mah(5 amps 5 charges to 2 charges respectively 🔋🏏
Yep, I put that info in the vid 👊
Did that come with a ryobi cord?
Watch the video
Love how it’s got a c-port and a usb now that iPhone will be using usb😂
I have to unsubscribe from you Clint 😊because you make me spend to much money. With all the new tools
😂

So the only thing this charges is a cellphone?
These have been out for a couple years. I have had mine for at least 2 years. This isn't just released. lol
Can't find them in Canada . Wtf
Back when phone batteries used to be removable, there was a huge battery market that was very similar to these. Dewalt just stepped up Ryobi style 😅😅😅
It was out way before China Ryobi
Bat Ray?
Very good design👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Try it with Ryobi solar panels to charge it
Very interesting 👌 👍 🤔
I smeeshed the👍button. I guess that I’m the only one who leaves my cell phone in the house while I’m working outside. 👏👏for making this video entertaining. Also the best part was using Ry-o-bee cord😆
Milwaukee has that topped off awhile ago. Plug and play

it will seem like a bargain once milwaukee comes out with theirs, lol
@@feelingtardy TOOO TRUE!!! LOL
The DeWalt will handle abuse that will turn cheaper models to dust and tears.
Or snap on lol

That's what I thought, I have multiple tools and batteries from Dewalt, 3ah batteries are larger than this, how did they put 10ah? No idea
@@seba08724Because your tool batteries output that at a higher voltage, so more watts overall.
They should have made it dual purpose as tool battery 🔋 too
The carabiner aspect already hella as me sold. Because that is the real nice like part that no one... NO ONE..... has.... lol well maybe but still for jobsite it makes sense and I'll buy one when I got the extra money. No more walking off-site with a dead phone blasting music and RUclips.
10ah, should have made it into a tool battery too
Let me know when they double that 10 to 20 maH . It’s a lil bulky for that size .
I thought I was watching Bill nye. Good show and presentations brother
Why don't they just add usb chargers to their tool batteries so you can charge a phone from them? Is that a stupid idea?

You gunna help me?
@@ToolReviewZone yes, I would love to help you, 👍thanks for the video ✌
The only problem is they did not put an iPhone charge port on it
Is it just a battery bank...
Oh my that looks good
Obsessed with power? You ? No way? I notice a lot of unopened tool boxes in the background of your garage. Does your wife know about this ?
*sigh* I guess I have to order this now lol

Junk. Get the USB adapter for the battery you actually use on your tools.
10,000 mah and that bulky⁉️ I’ll stick with Anker.
I think that 2024 is the year to retire the phrase "This bad boy"
They make a phone charger that slides on their batteries I don't know why they make this
Because the battery adapter is large and bulky
Real Nass Likeeee
handy - very handy
For $60....you can get one that will also jump your car.
Bro I love what you do and keep up the good...
Dewant power bank with ryobi cable! Noooooo 😮
