Do Amrabat & Diallo start against City in the Fa Cup Final?! Comment Below!
Yes. The formation is better too.
Bruno free role no striker for first 60-70 minutes of the final me thinks.
Yes 100% I wonder how much of yesterday’s performance was due to Bruno being in the free role up front.
YES👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
and we MUST buy Amrabat ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@banditbaker1675 it's in our hands mate, we can sell Casemiro and Eriksen first.
I was in the East Stand; IT WAS the Newcastle fans booing
Thanks for clearing that up
We didn't boo ole last game we won't ten hag
Good. Whatever anyone thinks about ten Hag, booing is never the answer. Even with the reservations I have, I still hope he wins every game, especially with a final coming up.
Newcastle fans are a bunch of fucking melts anyway.
Tbh why were they still anyway Newcastle are shite 😂
Amrabat was actually played in the position and role he was supposed to be playing in for the 1st time since he joined the club
442 ADAPTATION : The selection made us a 442 in disguise. This formation somewhat creates a balance and stability between the attack and defence. Thereby making some deep lying players such as Amrabat and Casemero to shine, also, attack minded players like Kobbie, mc, and bruno could play with freedom to release garnacho and Diallo. Our squads strength and make up is 442. Ten hag should have realised this earlier instead of trying to force a 433 formation, which means a extra striker on the field, thereby sacrificing the midfield and thus, putting pressure on the defence. Ten hag needs to adapt.
Wasn’t the first time, it’s the first time he has played it two times in a row. He looks like he really does have something to offer though. I’d be trying to get him on a permanent deal because we should be able to get him on the cheap.
as a Moroccan i can confirm that a confident Amrabat is an amazing player but when you are on loan and barely playing you loose confidence ! Onana for exemple was always playing even when he was shit because they spend money on him same as Antony !!!
As a non-Moroccan, I can confirm he's an above average player that would be better in Italy with a top ram than a higher level team in the PL.
Amrabat is a squad player and he'd be a good buy
No thanks. He’s slow, his touch is poor. His passing is poor.
As a non Moroccan (thankfully), I can confirm that Amrabat is dog 💩
@@MrGts92 United is not a higher level team in the PL, it's not the 2000's and yes, I agree he should leave and join one of the top 5 italian teams especially a club that values players and gives them everything to succeed like Roma and later the REAL higher level teams in the PL will be more than happy to pay a lot of money to acquire him...just like Salah, remember how Chelsea fans didn't even bother with him, he joined Roma and Spaletti allowed him to play the way he performs best and he blew up and came back to Liverpool when Chelsea was pure trash?
the PL is a terrible and pretentious league to be honest, all You need is to put the ' higher level ' teams in UEFA and they get smashed by the portuguese, greeks, italians, french, spanish, germans...You name it.
PL is all about the money now and it's sad.
Amrabat & Amad both played excellent performances
Would you have thought his performance was good, if the penalty was given? His touch caused the situation, then VAR made a mistake not giving it. Our standards are shocking.
@@carl2072his misjudged jump led to their goal as well, overall he has been better than most recently
@@carl2072absolutely spot on. He's a maguire style liability and plays us into trouble.
Amrabat was a beast in the World Cup. He's struggled at Utd due to not having a run in the team, and when he has been put in he has been played all over the place and not given the chance to show what he can do in his proper position.
It's great to see Steve smiling. The poor guy is always so sad when we lose.
We should've kept Sabitzer last year. Don't get rid of another scrapper. He tries to give 💯 %
I would have kept Ander Herrera for the same reason
@@ivanisrael4442100% agree! He loved the club
I don’t think he had a sell clause in the loan deal to us..
Agreed , Fred was the other scrapper …we got rid of two scrappers /runners and haven’t really replaced them …Fred saved Casemiero a lot tbh …hence his exposure this season
Selling Herrera was a dumb decision ever.
One of the big benefits of Amad being a real contender for cementing the right hand side as his spot is that it puts Garnacho and Rashford in competition with each other on the left. If we've got an inform player on the right, then you 're not going to put either of those two there, which means they need to fight to be on the left. They'll either push each other to produce more or one of them will buckle and leave and whether it's Rashford or Garnacho, we'll get decent money for whichever one does leave.
I’m glad Ste pointed out the fact of not switching between Rashford and Garnacho on the left and Amad and Antony on the left. Amad would have been playing so much more, Hojlund would have benefited and maybe even Antony would have put in a few good performances. We have only one winger that can play like Amad. He’s a gem in the making.
Keep Amrabat n all. He’s been mint since he’s been given a chance in his natural position, particularly tonight. Haven’t seen a midfielder show that kind of metal in so long. crunching people a bit, letting them know he is there, making some great decisions and some great tackles. Yes his touch has been a bit duff but he hasn’t fucking played! Get him for peanuts and at worst he could be capable back up in midfield.
Amrabat and Ahmad nice to see them start.
Yes 2 muslims have bought blessings to this side that why we won
Back to back
@@s7ed_jRasmus the Christian got the winner 😂
Credit to Ten Hag for his starting line up and substitutions. One thing about this manager, he's never down for long.

Yes, Amad and Amrabat should play against City in FA cup.
it’s not a surprise playing someone in their position for more than one game in a row
I agree mate.
Amad is class, the game against Liverpool and today, unreal. He is so good on the ball. Also Bruno is our best player, absolutely no doubt, and has been since he came.
Imagine that - amrabat a good player when he plays in position
Boos were 100% Newcastle's.. we were right above and thought it's a poor show from them.
Amrabat was like the strong version of Fred, going all over the place to close down players. He was the reason we got back the balls many times. Casemiro did a few good saves too.
Seen utd stand poll 80% ten hag in been consistent all season
Glad to see Bruno finally in the false 9… especially considering the circumstances in the squad. Hojland gets a rest and Ten Hag gets to play Bruno, McT and still have 2 proper midfielders. No brainer!
Also chuffed for Amad. His close ball control is top. He’s able to run a well organised defences, beat players and find a pass… which is one hell of a way to break down low blocks.
Bruno was unbelievable. He was swinging his foot at the ball and it was going backwards over his head and perfectly to the opposite winger/ fullback. Sensational stuff.

Absolutely love Amad but everyone asking why hasn't he played more, he was injured for 27 games this season, which means ETH probably didn't want to risk him picking it up again so quickly.
Spot on and rightly so I don't want to see any players rushed back from serious injury especially young talents like Amad.
Amad came of against Arsenal after taking a knock on the knee and looked quite concerned, so he is still obviously obviously building up his confidence around his knee.
I've seen many channels going in on ETH for Amads limited game time and using it against him but I'm pretty sure he knows he has a very talented player on his hands and should be applauded for wrapping him in cotton wool.
Amad Diallo plays with a smile on his face. This is what we want to see.
Given that presumably Eriksen and Casemiro are leaving, that's two senior midfielders going. Thus I'd say keep Amrabat for the squad and get a proper energetic DM
No thanks … he had a good game.
I'd rather see Maxi from the 21s given a squad role and a better player brought in to replace Casemiro.
Amrabat would cost another 20 million and at his age is probably not good business imo.
On top of that I'd say Amrabat needs a regular starting role somewhere at this stage of his career although he is a solid player and is probably better than what he has shown with his limited chances this season.
He offers us some much needed physicality as we've been bullied to many times this season.
I wouldn't be against keeping him but I think he'll probably be let go unless United can drive the price down maybe like Ste suggested.
Well said Ste. No equivocation. No waffling - just proper enthusiasm
Amrabat seems to be a confidence player and with confidence from the last game he upped his performance yesterday there where some mistakes but one thing he guarantees is when he loses the ball he will try his hardest to get it back. With more time he could be even better 💪
I liked the starting lineup a lot other than the cb situation. Martinez really put it over the edge when he came on. Bruno false nine was the solution this whole time tbh
As was said on another vid. Amad was injured (August to December - knee). So for him to play regularly this season, was a big ask. Fine, from mid-Feb/March onwards there can be questions as to why he hasn't played more often.
The injury is exactly why he's been used sparingly and rightly so.
Amad was subbed of against Arsenal after taking a knock to his knee and looked concerned and in in discomfort.
The player himself is obviously still tentative regarding the injury and again rightly so, to many players have been rushed back from injuries to the detriment of there long term career's.
@@genghiskhanjunior9581 yeah, damned if ten Hag does, damned if he doesn't
There is a report put out a week or two ago, saying that one of the reasons ETH was playing out of form players like Rashford and Antony is to try and keep their market value up (to potentially sell) instead of benching them and not giving them playtime and lowering their value
Although playing them through bad form might be considered exposing them and lowering their value 😅
I had been thinking that ETH didn't want to play Amad because he was brought in under another manager and he along with the decision makers were playing Antony to at least try to increase his value if he turned up every now and then. Was happy to see Ten Hag immediately went for Amad after the whistle to hug him and congratulate him(and probably thank him) on his performance. After some shit showings from Casemiro he had a solid game but Amrabat paired with Mainoo was class, he was continually breaking up their play and made it difficult for them to really get a rhythm going. Lastly, a massive shout out to Jonny Evans for putting in a veteran performance.
tbf Erik said he wanted to bring Amad back slowly because of his injuries, age, and the long list of other injuries
amrabat was surely playing for the contract. FOR SURE.
amad beauty
A lot of players take at least a season to adapt to PL especially when they are injured and/or not playing every week.
I enjoyed last night, nothing really to play for but the younger players went out did something and enjoyed it.
For me, the team looked liked a ETH team in the areas of, formation, he played a false 9 at Ajax when they were at there best in the champions league, playing a 4-2-4 formation, with movement and stability in the midfield - we would need Rasmas to play a littler bit deeper possibly or a new CM like bruno to make that midfield very dynamic. Secondly the style of play (until we went 1-0 up???) short quick passes, intricate build up, wingers cutting in with cut backs to scoring CMs on the edge of the pen box, Donny would thrive again.
Amad should definitely start, but am I missing something, or wasn't Amad injured for more than half of the season?
It was good to see Amrabat playing in his normal position, also good to see his physicality, not always to the rules, but anyone dishing it out like he was, will make opposition players think a bit. Also Amad was excellent. Would like to see ETH get another season and Amrabat too, maybe its too late to U-turn that decision though. Still some basic errors, but much better than of late.
In stadium astro short interview, Amad said he was injured for a while due his knee irritating him.
The people in the stadium will always back managers. If it was up to OT, Moyes would’ve been given endless years. As would Ralf LVG and Ole. It’s not a case of right or wrong, it’s just how it is
And rightly so best fans in the World
Smart people. It would've meant the board would've sorted themselves out earlier or at least actual pressure on them
@@degeautdfanfirstyou don’t become the best fans in the world for backing underperforming managers mate.
@@Jackiiiiiiiiiyou literally do though.
I loved what I saw from Bruno tonight, looking like a real captain his last couple of games. We need to see more of Amad. Amrabat a much better option next to Mainoo, but he seems probe to making costly mistakes.
Agreed, amrabat has hardly played for us though, certainly not in his actual position and when he has not in a run and not as a starter.
We can wangle a good price now most likely and so I’m saying we should keep him if he plays well in the last few games.
We need squad depth for next season. Casemiro is going, and we’re probably only signing one midfielder, so I’d keep Amrabat for squad rotation coming off the bench.
Hopefully he’ll get better with more games.
Amrabat hardly had a run of games, tough to build form. But since he has played, the midfield looks better and it releases Kobbie to play his natural game. I’d keep Amrabat for squad depth, Amad once he gets to full fitness is shoe in for that right wing berth, he looks the part. Garnacho needs to become a team player, he can be so annoying with his decision making. Amrabat did make a couple of mistakes, but he offers the best protection to the backline. In hindsight, ten Hag’s midfield has been porous all season, but the last 2 games have shown what a proper defensive midfielder will offer this team. United needs a midfielder like Amrabat who will throw his weight around, and allow the other midfielders to effect the game elsewhere.
Well said jacko
The only thing I can think of as to why Amad and Amrabat haven't started is due to fitness, as in: faded hard as the game got late. The reason I say that is: we wouldn't and couldn't know that without seeing it, and EtH obviously wouldn't want to show that because it would be embarrassing.
Either that, or politics. I can't imagine any other reasons.
Let's go
3-2-3-2
AWB - any CB (Martinez) - Diego, maino - ambrabat , garnacho - Bruno - amad , rashford - hojlund
It is so nice to be on the very same page as you for once, Ste. I listen to you intently and I know you know your stuff, but sometimes I just see different problems. I am glad Martinez did not start, but did get some game minutes. I now have a reason to believe we have a chance in the final, not a big chance, albeit.
I saw a lot of positives. Amad, Amrabat, Bruno a great save from Casemiro.
Lack of game time. We just need to regroup end of season and get a few new players and bring more Academy lads through. UTID❤
Surprising what happens when Ten Haag plays Amrabat in his correct position & it’s absolute madness that Amad has only started 2 league games 😳
I’m ETH in but I wonder if he’s a bit biased with certain players, the difference in Amrabat in his normal position and finally playing Amad .
To be fair tho, amad did miss about 30 games through injury this season, he’s started coming on and playing well to the back end of the season
Maybe ten hag he’s timed this well
Pretty sure Amad had a serious injury for majority of the season, have heard Ten Hag say in interview they had to manage bringing him back in carefully. Not sure what excuse for Amrabat is though, could have brought him in sooner.
My observation is that Amad seems to have that maturity and decision making on the field of play that Garnacho seems to be missing at the moment..
Amrabat was everywhere today making tackles.
He's also got the technical ability that Garnacho lacks.
Against city if martinez is back, then martinez and evans at cb, push casemiro infront just sitting, and then mainoo and amrabat with him as cdm with bruno as false 9/free role. This hopefully gives us numbers in midfield against city and then bring on hojlund when needed
Diallo is the Sancho we needed, and plays like he's Bernardo Silva's son
The booing was as the newcastle team were leaving the pitch
World cup confrance league final i watched an his stats for Fionantina im not suprised 😁👍
Harry Amass brilliant attacking/distribution abilities. Not used poor decision.
This is he's first session and the this second game he played 90 mint and he did great game and the coach should give him more time and play in his place as midfielder, that's my opinion and all the best to Man united fan from Morocco
whys everyone ignoring that amad has had a very long injury this season and is expected to have played majority of the games this season? i jst dont get it...
I like Amad and Amrabat but I dont think we need to get overly carried away by a couple of lads who have come in fresh at the end of the season and done OK against a backdrop of some pretty horrendous performances recently. Lets not forget Amrabat was partiallly culpable for the 1st goal and was lucky not to give away a penalty after another error of his own making. Better option than Eriksen and Casemiro for sure but that's not saying much!
Amrabat shows he’s hungry and wants to win he should have been in playing all season and how Anthony gets in in front of Diallo is a joke….football politics ruins football!! Ten hag should’ve just had a set of bollocks on him and accepted signing Anthony was a shocker and played diallo he would of got far more respect for it off the fans
I think diallo starts in the final. Strong case for amrabat to start as well. I would buy amrabat for 20-25 mill if available, and sell mctominay and eriksen. I would keep casemiro for his quality and experience.
Lads let’s not forget Amad was injured until January
Big Willie and Licha the strongest available defenders right now
The other thing we have going for us is that we have Greenwood, sancho and pellistri. We could sell them, but we'd get more value out of trading them. For example you could sell pellistri for £10-15m but if you were to use him in a deal for another player, say Olise for £60m, he could be part of a player plus cash i.e £40m cash and £20m player value.
Is everyone forgetting amad has been injured more than half a season?
Sancho was playing the false 9 position well before ten Hag threw him under the bus
Ste you know what it is? Of course they havent told Ten Hag he is fired, because he and the team have a cup final to win and that would not help the cause at all.
But there is a reason why there are all these INEOS links to other managers. I believe that INEOS are waiting for the cup final to be finished and then they'll tell him
AMAD should get the 7 shirt next season
What I find astonishing is that Utd already had Amad Garnacho Pellestri Sancho Elanga Rashford and they blew 90millions on Antony!Didnt anyone tell Ten Hag that there was plenty of talent in the wing department already! I don't blame ten hag for the Antony signing I blame the recruitment process for not only buying him but for overpaying! They failed to sign De johng pity they didn't fail with Antony!
The difference between Anthony and Amad is how their teammates interact with them... They celebrated with Amad after his goal, they almost look embarrassed when Anthony celebrates scoring even though they both did about 3 separate celebrations..
There's also the fact that Anthony just looks to moan at everything, Even Scott McTominay had to chew him out when he was moaning about moving to left wingback when we were chasing the game against Arsenal.... Anthony's attitude stinks and it's getting clearer that the other players don't like him, you only get away with having an attitude like that if you're contributing to the team and even then it does cause issues
Amrabat was okay nothing more. Incredibly lucky to not give a penalty away too. VAR should have overturned the ref really on that one. We need better
People seem to completely forget that amad was out with a bad injury for the majority of the season, his game time could just be managing a young player back from injury
Let it go Ste. Let it go 😂
One of the most consistent stories ive heard all season from every united fan channel i watch is how our wage bill needs to be slashed and how we are overpaying players, now im experienced enough in life to realise when the same story comes up in the media over and over again especially when it kind of deflects with the timing of such stories when we lose games, getting the fans mad at the players, when we all know the Glazers are the biggest problem at the club. Back in 2013 when we last won the league Uniteds income was just over 400 million pounds whilst the yearly wage bill was around 190 million pounds, thats a sizeable chunk of the clubs budget but its very typical of our yearly wage bill to club income a simple gland that roughly 48% of club income on players wages, typical if you go through the years previous to 2013, its now 2023/24 and the club wage bill per year is 210 million pounds, roughly a 10% rise compared to 11 years ago but whilst our income was 400 million back then our yearly income ion 2023/24 is over 700 million pounds, now im no Rachel Riley but even I can at a quick glance see our yearly wage bill is around 40% lower than it was 11 years ago compared to our income, so why are we constantly being told the wage bill must be lowered, that we cant afford this and that, now i know we have players earning wages way above their ability but thats not the issue here, the issue is the big picture and why does the club want us to focus on players wages? Please look into this
Amad can be our Foden🔥🔥
Man Utd fans are something. The team wins one game and the fans think all their problems are over.
I think Mainoo is a future star, but needs to be managed, I think Eric has had to play him out of necessity when he's wanted to rest him to prevent burnout. I'd like to see him play half our games next season to protect him. But the would mean signing a CM to allow the rotation.
@howson
how did he fumble it all the way through the season playing other People, when Amad was injured until January? we have one game in January. Hojlund, Garnacho,
Rashford were in brilliant form February.
Amad stared to get minutes in March/April.
Yes , he should have started a few games but it's like 6 or 7, not a large part of the season like you're eluding to
The way we fix the conceding shots thing is buying fast centre backs. Simples.
There's no doubt that the support for the team is more forgiving than online. However, I guarantee that many people in attendance are parking their outward negativity as it looks bad on everybody and other fans love it. It's a different ballgame online as there's less facesaving going on there.
I was genuinely moved by the support from the fans in attendance while losing to Palace and Arsenal...........but is it better for performances? I'm not sure.
Lucky enough to be at the game. The boos came from the Newcastle fans who were still in the away section.
Johnny Evans 🙌🏽
Amrabat, one off? Will he perform in the next game? Will any of them? We can't rely on back to back performances let alone a run. That's how things are at the moment.
I thought Amrabat was good tonight but Sky sports gave 6/10 same as the awful McSauce
Ten hag a positive guy and a persuasive one
Thanks Howson for remembering its not been Anthony keeping amad out of the team most of the year. He's only played about 1/3 of available minutes. Rashford and garnacho were started ahead of him many times. Let's not make this guy into a scapegoat, he's been no worse than some other players and the guy at least tries hard when he plays
1 thing for sure...team looked better with rashford nt on the pitch...no hate!just every1 ran...garnacho was backing up dalot in the back...rashford was jogging around the opposition half
I was in the stadium
It was clearly the Newcastle fans booing
Ste & folk's I think it's on the back burner but why hasn't any journalist's asked & received an answer, Why has the squad keep getting injuries all season for? We need new meds next season for sure ❤
Amad looked like a good Jadon Sancho. Joseph Smith the Jesus looking guy with the book of Mormon name. Take. A. Bow 👏
Totally agreed. Give him the armband, best #16 since Keano
Wow. What a fantastic description of Joe! 😂😂 Amad looked good tonight. Hopefully he can build in next 2 games and for next season.
Keeping amrabat, selling Casemiro is an option. The right one, maybe, maybe not. I still think if you put legs around and behind Casemiro, then he is still a Quality player and plenty good enough to play for united still. His vision, passing and know how is still there, I just think he needs help to get the best out of him and less responsibility as a pure defensive midfielder. Amrabat, I believe he can get better at united, but do we keep him or go elsewhere like Palhinha at Fulham🤔
Legit think Amrabat and Amad have needed the time ten Hag has given them for them to come in ready. Just like he did with Mainoo. Mainoo was introduced and managed in the team great by ETH. Honestly I think ETH knows this season is done so he's managing and bringing in the players he sees in his future starting XIs rather than running them into the ground. ETH was fucked by the preseason tour and the state of our medical facilities, he's had to manage his players coming back from that. Martinez last injury was unfortunate, he got cleaned out and I don't think a foul was even given. Amad has had injury issues at United, I just don't think ETH is willing to risk his long term career for short term success.
Have u forgotten amad injured half the season
In terms of centre backs, I'd be content to sell Maguire and Lindelof, varane is gone... that would be £33m off the annual wage bill and £40-50m in potential transfer fees.
We need to sign 2 new centre backs, offer Evans another contract and keep him as 5th choice, make kambwala 4th choice
Brighton game should blood Amass perfect chance to test character and resolve.
STE LEGEND 🇮🇪🟥
Amad has had injuries but he’s been fit for a while and proven he should of had a lot more game time
ETH is staying IMO as I eel that Rooney, Neville and Keano are all singing from the same briefed script this last week or so!
I think lamrabat will match with milan or atletico madrid.
they had 2.3xG are we sure he had a good game?
You forgot how Antony got here
You forgot he skip training with Ajax just to play for man utd
It was a hard deal so I don’t blame the boy or the manager ,but he needs to relax a while and allow competition
Amad and Mainoo are so silky with, look like city players
Ten hag : Dan Gore mistake, instead of amrabat and Amass (LB) game time wrong.
