I’m in school for swift and this is my final week. I thought the same way too. Pre trip was my weakness there is a lot of parts to memorize. But I studied every day after class and now I got all of the parts down of the vehicle. Don’t let it discourage you, the more you do pre trip in class the more it clicks in your head
So was I. As long as your determined & actually want to learn you got it! Download all the CDL apps & do all the test until you don’t miss any. Driving academy’s pre trip video 2024 helped me a lot. I was listening to it in my car & on my AirPods at work. Listen to until you can say it word for word anywhere you go!
How do you view drivers from the EU who want to come to the US to work as a truck driver? I'm asking honestly because I'm curious about the attitude of your drivers there, as you know, truck drivers are one big family and we should support each other wherever we go. I have always dreamed of working in the USA as a truck driver and it is not about the "American dream" I just love this job and I feel that it is my place on earth. My life has been going very bad for the last 2 years and I finally have a chance to change in 2025 as you say. I am currently looking for a company that sponsors a green card but it's very difficult, they don't have anyone in the US. And I want to put everything on one card, change something in my life and finally start living and fulfilling my dreams. I have always been interested in the United States and it was my biggest dream to go there. Moreover, if I could combine what I love, i.e. driving a truck in the place I dreamed of, I would have everything
The trucking industry here in the USA welcome you with open arms man. As long as you respectful to people, they will respect you. We are family here for the most part.
im pretty sure sweeden and norway are far better choices for trucking than the US. There are far too many shady lying companies that was take advantage of you any chance they get
My company has yard jock positions so I just switched from the tractor to the yard jock. If your company doesn’t have them just apply for a company that does bro.

Trust me I thought the same thing before starting. Once you get in school you gone realize it’s much easier than what you thought. Go for it!
