Did mine with Pigs can Fly is was very much Powerpoint but I did enjoy it. Yes I would agree that instructor led would be the ideal as you can ask the questions.
Totally agree about instructor led course, not only do you get to ask questions but you get to meet (virtually) others in the drone community taking the course.
Hi Mark, with regard to flying in different weather conditions, how would you best assess the limits of a home built craft when you obviously have no manual to refer to.?
thats for you to apply logic for example exposed electronics / wiring / solder joints will not like water so would you fly in any amount of water in the air ? Are the ESCs rated as water proof etc etc
A2cofc vs the part 107 not had the chance to study part 107 I think part 107 flight ops are more in line with the GVC / operational authorisation as that allows over flight etc
re-do it - its to show your staying current with the rules like the DMARES test etc - the legacy stuff you just fly new C1 / C2 aircraft until you renew the A2
and check out the A2 Meteorology course module on the channel (the last module is due to be released - See channel Playlists) and - rest of the A2 cofc content will be posted over the summer for refreshing knowledge etc

Great info. I did my exam a couple of weeks ago but I think a lot of people will find this very helpful.
Great insight for what to expect.
Did mine with Flying Pigs very happy with the course and Exam
What dya think or expect a hobbyist with Mavic Mini will need to do in 2023 to continue flying over buildings and people?

How does the A2 CofC compare in complexity and material to the US part 107 .

@@allaboutdrones8070 107 is on par wth GVC without the practical flight tests so I am informed
Very clear Mark, thank you. If I do the A2 CofC course now (valid for 5 years?) what happens in 2022 after the legacy period ends?

and maybe Article 16 maybe what you need anyway ruclips.net/video/E3tpu6yueWw/видео.html
