Elvis = the most beautiful gorgeous man ever. He went from being a poor unknown kid in the South to being mega famous and surrounded by adoring fans (esp. women). Legend 👑
Good gracious! Elvis must have been the most handsome man in the world. I mean, look at him! Every man next to him or behind him just fades away.Thank you for this footage. It was a true pleasure to watch this.
Elvis stood out above all others in the same room. Such was his level of charisma and good looks. His vocals and live performances were yet on another higher level than all.
Thanks for the video, which I didn't know before. I'm always surprised that I've been an Elvis fan since 1976 and see news of Elvis over and over again. Elvis always made time for his fans. and he was always so friendly with everything.
Elvis, Elvis, dlaczego pozwoliłeś wszystkim hienom być tak blisko siebie, za bardzo byles odpowiedzialny za wszystko I wszystkich, ale ty byles dla nich tylko otwartym bankiem!!!!!
Just 17 years later at 42 he would be gone. Look at what he accomplished in such a short period of his life. Even serving his country in the Army. Look at how everyone looks at him up and down as if trying in vain to find a flaw. And to think he’s just standing there but behind that cool handsome exterior, lurks the King of Rock N Roll. 😊😊

A great find. Anyone who knows the starlet/babes of the day (better than I do) will recognize the ones who appear in the last part of this film (at the "GI Blues" premiere). But I did spot: 1:17-Don Rickles, 1:42- Angela Lansbury, 13:25- nutty bandleader Spike Jones, 13:40 "Rebel" actor Nick Adams, 14:26- 40's ladies' man (and 60's Batman "Joker") Ceasar Romero, 14:32- Ronald and Nancy Reagan, 14:35- actor David ("The Fugitive" ) Janssen. I think that's singer Paul Anka at 14:10 (as another post says). As others have pointed out, Bobby Darin and Jim Backus appear in the first party scenes. Great Hollywood history here.
Wow! Talented, charming in an amazing video compilation. Elvis exudes calmness, confidence and cordiality towards those around him. Interested and caring for people. Thanks for sharing.✌️👑👼❤️🫶🌞

Elvis at a function where he talks privately with a friend Bobby Darin backstage. In one scene that's Jim Backus (Mr Magoo & Thurston Howell III from Gilligan's Island) talks to Elvis. Backus also made three films that featured Humphrey Bogart ("Deadline USA"), Marilyn Monroe ("Don't Bother To Knock") & James Dean ("Rebel Without a Cause") which gives Backus the incredible distinction of having met 4 legends in their prime. With Danny Thomas, Elvis dedicates the USS Arizona (in Pearl Harbor) which becomes a museum & gives Thomas the first check to start St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
@@exdus235 - I know. I'm just mentioning it because Elvis was involved with Danny Thomas more than once. I was not going for specifics this time around or I would've cited dates, places & guests. But you're right -- that particular scene was not the USS Arizona dedication.
THIS WAS A GIFT FROM ELVIS TO DANNY THOMAS WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF ST. JUDES CHILDRENS HOSPITAL....ELVIS DONATED A HOSPITAL SHIP..TO THE KIDS....GOD BLESS HIM
well and truly a veteran rock n roller here having been in the vanguard of bringing forth a new musical style at that very time veering off into becoming a fully blown movie star, before becoming permanently established & las vegas hide bound!
That was Jim backus Elvis was talking to at the beginning and nodding he is the father of James Dean in the movie rebel without a cause, that must have been a great moment for Elvis. I also made an observation he seems to be the tallest guy in the room
Wrong ! The Beatles had been around since 1958, but didn’t toured America until 1964. Just because he’s holding a magazine with the Beatles on it doesn’t mean anything about what year it was. They were huge fans of Elvis and finally met him in 1964 as he would welcome them to the USA. Later we find out that he tried to get them banned from coming here because he said they would be bad for us, but the truth was that the Beatles were his biggest competition for record sales and Colonel Tom Parker, Elvises manager didn’t like them either. But they eventually concord American anyway. They were just too good.
Wrong! If you watched the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, you would have seen Sullivan mention the fact that the Beatles received a congratulatory telegram from Elvis and the Colonel wishing them the best here in America. Aside from all that, how far did you get in public school because your grammar is abysmal....
Now everytime I see Colonel Parker I get pissed….that man led to the destruction of Elvis over his greed and personal paranoia of his immigration status
In the first 1960 video I see Donald O'Connor talking to Elvis. Is the blonde in the 1960 premiere video Pamela Austin? It looks like her, and she co starred with Elvis in the movie "Kissin' Cousins" (1964).
The presentation of the Potomac took place on 14 February 1964. Its purchase was yet another bad decision by illegal immigrant and carnival hustler Parker.
Elvis Presley jamas vió y no oe importo...

I know, me too and I think that was Thurston Howell the 3rd in that video.....lol
You may be familiar with the photo of Elvis and Tina Louise, from when he returned from the Army. I was hoping to see her in these clips.
Great clips, let’s not forget Elvis but also Bobby Darin who was in the video. Two great Entertainers, worth their weight in gold, true legends
Bobby who lol! Elvis Presley was in the room! Enough said
To be fair Bobby was a great talent as well, elvis was just the best.

Elvis and Bobby Darin the Sahara Hotel Tuesday 26th July 1960 there was a after party for George Burns' wife, Gracie Allen.
Todos ahí eran tan feos Elvis divino
The title says Live in 1960 but at 6:49 Elvis is holding up a magazine with a photo of The Beatles so this had to be shot in 1964.......

Elvis talking to Thirsten Howell 😃

This is when Elvis donated a ship and Danny Thomas said why did he buy that piece of shit.Elvis was hurt and angry.
What did Danny said that made Elvis angry???
What ???
I saw Mr howell in there from Gilligan's Island..:)
Why aren't such "Hollywood Stars" identified by whoever posted the video ??? 🤔

Snow job parker fooled elvis for years before elvis finally got smart and realised what the colonel was really doing to his career.
