- Meet Frank Jenner, a simple man with a profound question. It was 1941 at the height of WWII when Frank heard God call him to approach 10 people per day on the streets of Sydney Australia and politely ask one simple question: “If you died within 24 hours where would your soul be in eternity, Heaven or Hell?” The possibility of imminent death would not have seemed a remote one to the many soldiers and sailors who passed through Sydney harbour on their way to and from battle assignments and it was to members of the military that Frank was most drawn. This documentary examines how Jenner’s straightforward and bold outreach led to the conversion of many and influenced evangelism methods for decades to come. What emerges is a portrait of a sincere and earnest man with a pure desire to reach those around him with the message that had changed his life. The lesson of the film is not necessarily to copy Jenner’s approach but to listen and obey God’s call to proclaim the gospel in the context in which we live.

My grandfather William Reginald Angus was Hon. General Secretary of the Open Air Campaigners in Sydney from 1922 for more than twenty years. He was responsible for many of the Goulburn Street open air meetings and his focus, according to L. M. Werry a director of OAC in his contribution on the fly cover of Mr Angus's book 'The Personal Worker', was 'Where would you go if you died tonight'. Concluding that under his ministry thousands have personally knelt at the saviours feet, to claim the saviour as theirs. Leaving no doubt one being Frank Jenner. I've seen the shorter version of this, and I'm another touched by the Frank Jenner story. I had already come to Christ, but Frank's story greatly encouraged me to share Christ with others.
God saved me more than 36 years ago, and IMMEDIATELY gave me a burning passion to share my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Only 2 or 3 days after my conversion, the Lord led me into a Christian book store. It was a divine appointment! There, on the tract racks of that establishment, I felt my calling from the Lord to be a tract evangelist. And Chick Publications Comic booklet Gospel tracts are all I use to spread the message of the cross ✝️.
The moment I saw those little comic booklets in that store, it was love at first sight, spiritually speaking. I knew God had put these powerful Gospel weapons in my hands, for His purposes in my life.
I'm still just as on fire 🔥 for souls and tracts distribution today - and even more so as my own time in this world may be drawing to a close.
