I really hope Studio Trigger makes another season for this, because I’m loving this anime so far. Michiru is cute, Shirou is a badass, the friendship between Michiru & Nazuna is adorable... hope they expand on it in the future. Also, the soundtrack is great. And the art style is gorgeous.

I don't think it would add more than it would take away. They have a great friendship and work relationship. I always got the impression, that they trust each other more as partners than with romance in mind. In some ways, having a male and female lead without them getting together is subverting expectations in a good way, because it subverts a strange set of expectations that we were trained to have, by the media we consume.

Usually the parents in animes aren’t that important to the story. Michiru in this anime was 16 when she turned into a beastmen. Once she was at Anima City she was 18. By Japan law you start to be independent at the age of 16. Basically you could live all by yourself once your 16. To sum it up, 16-year olds are treated as adults in Japan. Hope that clears things up.
I wish they could have played the ED song somewhere in the episode's final minutes instead of just this track (and the other track used before this one). While the last ~20 seconds of this sound uplifting, it feels a bit too funky and weird before that IMO. After the awesome climax with the OP, the rest of the ending felt a little flat and dry to me. Maybe it's partly because we were so used to hearing the ED close off each episode nicely, and I was expecting to hear it one last time. But the song has in-universe significance too and could have created an even happier feeling than this track. is it just me that felt the ending would have been more satisfying if they found a way to incorporate the ED in the background after the final battle? If it is just me it would make me worry less that they chose the wrong decision xD

I feel like the anime lacked the discrimination between Beastmen and Humans. It would’ve made more sense if the main villain was a human. Because Beastmen’s greatest enemy are humans. If there is going to be a 2nd season they need to incorporate more on discrimination, prejudice acts, basically more insight on how beastmen are suffering in a world inhabited by humans. LIKE if you AGREE.

そして、シローも自分に身に覚えがないため、それを察し、しかも人間のミチルにだけ姿を見せていたことから、シローに宿る者達もミチルを最初から人と獣を繋ぐ者として認めていたことを感じ、『変われるかもな…この街も…』と最後のセリフに繋がる。
と勝手に解釈してます。
