That’s a gnarly time to fish, better Than sitting in looking at walls though mate👌 If you didn’t go out you wouldn’t have had that awesome dinner 👌 Good to see you get out and use some of those awesome gifts👌
Hey clay I meet you in mapua the other day with my friends when you were landing your boat with Jody was just wondering if you had any good land based fishing spots in the Nelson region we could try out? Good job on the vids they looking amazing keep it up! All the best for the new year!
Good to meet you. Your fishing was going better than our fishing that day mate. For catching rig the back beach at Tahuna at night is good right now using live crab for bait. For Snapper Ruby bay works on high tide an hour each side. Only catching small ones lately there. For flounder using either net or spear Mapua and Marahua and Riwaka inlet are all good. For spearing you want incoming just before high tide at night. Good luck.
Have the same machine bro loud as, with ya milk get ya some raw milk if ya can good shit, Mrs reckons tilt the jug an lift it up n down in slow steady motion or something tap the jug 2-3 times on bench an pour, we get our beans from karapiro probably Jed's just rebagged an sold with a mark up 😂😂
Hey bud, so my first ever kayak expedition today. Went out in the inlet just to see how I went.. caped sized and lost me fishing rod.. dohhh. Back on and off again. Learnings.. have me rods tied to a float or kayak.. paddling was good.. just balancing was scetchy. More time in the kayak ... better at balancing I’ll be. And then the fishing will commence lol. Enjoying your Volgs mate👍👍 Keep you posted. Lua😁
Good to see one of you out fishing Clay.. man you enjoy life...whether you drinking coffee or enjoying fish or playing with the puppies..good on ya mate🤙
Have the exact same machine can be abit of noisy when steam first hits milk, hold jug on angle and as it warms up and the milk starts to move noise goes away also then you can touch the bottom of jug to check temperature and make sure no over heating of milk so it doesn't go sour.
Try to grind your coffee a little bit finer and maybe just a little bit more that should help to get a better Crema and help to make some fancy patterns :)
Hello again Clay, It’s great to see you doing a spot of Sea Fishing which used to be a great pass time for me and provided fresh food most times, But since I’m now landlocked where I live and since I’ve buggered up my leg I can’t sea fish anymore sadly as using powerful casting techniques I used to use isn’t possible as it’s hard to keep balance with a walking stick and casting out at the same time, But I still enjoy watching people sea fishing, It looks like you had a nice day out and a nice Gurnard isn’t a bad catch at all and good eating too, Personally when I used to fish I took pot luck on what species I caught but my favourites were Cod and Bass but I went after other species like Mackerel and Conger Eels too, To me a day out fishing was lovely and catching a fish was just a bonus to round off a day nicely, I didn’t always come away with a Fish but hey that’s the nature of the thing really, Anyway Clay take care and catch you again later bye for now.
Another awesome day in fishing for you then mate 😁 ... I'm exactly the same some days thinking I should not be out here because it's so rough but stay lol . Bit of a tip that may used to have a Viking express fishing kayak used to put foam in the holes would stop the water from coming up into the cockpit when I was paddling but could easily pull them out to let . Work really really well maybe give that ago
Wasabi/Shoyu, and Ahi sashimi, with white cabbage finely shredded. Just be careful as the longer you dunk the cabbage, it's porous and will open the inside of the nostrils to quarter($.25) size. Really enjoyable.
@@Voyagerss77 Hey mate, sinkers I sent to clay were mainly 6oz, good for up to 20m I've found, and some 8oz which just get down there a bit quicker but good for that depth and more, guess it depends on how deep your fishing and the current too, if your fishing deep water you need to get down quick (heavier sinker), I make sinkers from 4-32 oz for mates etc..,sell a few but happy to help you with any questions. :-)
Used to beach fish at kina in the 70s and 80s.always caught stingray.great fun but lost lots of gear.stingaray wings are great for making fish cakes.take a bit of effirt though
Hey bro your wife or partner is so cute and lovely person, I just love Japanese people too, they are fantastic people and as always amazing video mate!!!!!

Yeah mate. Po is by far my best pig dog. Since she has had pups and we have not hunted her the other dogs have not caught much at all which just goes to show Po has been catching most the pigs this year.
Cool vid,I watch out everyday for your stuff. Thanks for the fishing I,m so keen to be able to fish with confidence like you do,shame you can't show us how to cut and fillet each different types of fish (hint hint) but appreciate it's a hassle for you to do that, anyways good on you for the care-home vid also, miss your kids being in the shows they are awesome, just like Dad! cheers bro..

Hey Clay, have you ever tried the tear-the bones-out method of preparing gurnard? I don’t get nearly enough of them to be good at it...
Yeah mate but it stuffs the flesh up for sashimi. Its good for pan frying or baking.
You caught a poison toad shitter eel. :)

Thanks mate
The first fish you got is a goatfish there reallly good eating
good info. Aoi said it tasted great.

Boxey is a top shelf GB!
How heavy are they? I'm about to buy a mold that is why I would like to know what are the best weight range to have for that same setting
