The beer in my hand just turned into a tropical drink and my baseball cap transformed into a Panama hat!! _I think I need to fly south..._ ✈️🌴🌊🍷 Thanks for posting!
What a wonderful arrangement. Corrine's voice is what we recognize all too often. I'm glad we can show Andy some appreciation for his brilliant contribution to one of our fav bands. BTW.love the presentation from Anisha. Great visuals
This is one of those songs that grabs me in such a deep emotional way. Never has a scat vocal arrangement been so perfect....lush, layered and detailed. One of those tunes that should be four times its length, but perfect just the same. Its short length is almost a tease. The entire album is just.....sublime. Easily THE best of their catalog IMHO. It just haunts me with every "audition". An ardent audiophile who takes his listening VERY seriously, this recording from a production and mastering standpoint is utterly flawless. One to hear on the best quality music system you have access to. THANK YOU Corinne, Andy and company for the sonic bliss!!
I follow SOS since 80´, I love their work. God bless you forever!!! Corine and Andy!!! You make me feel so fine. When I am bored, and sad I listen your music and suddenly everything change.
...We talk too much and feel too little...Our eyes do not see the good and only sate on the bad...We came from somewhere and we will leave for somewhere else...Wish that I had heard this once upon a long time ago in the A Shau Valley..."...I am certain of nothing except the holiness of the Heart's affections and the truth of the Imagination..."(Keats)...Blessings to all points of the compass...James Patrick Casey, Esq.
I actually understand the meaning of “ It’s better to travel “….with SOS songs you can really go anywhere in place and time. That is the magic of music.
Always been my favorite band consistenly. Donte think there ever had a bad track.. Though the later albums with strings and orchestra later are much superior in my eyes.. This is riviera music at its best..
70s and 80sfor the sax and more of Carlos Jobim and George Benson than Steely Dan feeling But they are in the late sixties organ and seventies music mood Right.Fabulous duet and musicians
It's so relaxing and delightful to the senses. They don't make enough music like this, but then I guess that is what makes it so special. I always think of riding escalators in a busy airport or some public center... Corrine and Andy have always made us feel so free with their music ...
It reminds me of Rio de Janeiro in the sixties/seventies... don't know why .....very old fashioned with all those haunting voices hehehe Twilight Zonish ...
Yes! I think of a car driving…but I think it’s the same…it’s “motion WITH EXCITED EXPECTATION” like you’re GOING somewhere and the GETTING there is amazing all by itself. And of course, the wonderful promises of what is to come. I think you nailed it!
I think this is in fact a rearrangement of La source by Delibes (not sure which part). So it actually started life in 1866 !!! Listen to Claire Jones version if you're not convinced. Both versions are great.
@samuelviolin Song reminds me of LA, a city I knew more as a child growing up, but not so much as an adult since I moved away when I went to college and never returned to stay.
This song remembers me of the best time of my life, is the symbol of a dream come true. I love this song, but I always wondered what 'La Source' means, or how it got that name...
reading through the txts why are people comparing s.os. sounding like other groups?...can't we just appreciate s.o.s as a great band in their own right?❤
I think I heard them borrow from MFSB on another song to .... The intro/outro to Ordinary People (The Living Return) may be a little inspired by Mysteries Of the World . Maybe some Lonnie Liston Smith too

My national anthem
There music brings a connection that is beyond words. They're so special.
hipnótica.Imagino estar numa estrada a beira-mar e a paisagem passar diante de meus olhos.
This is just pure magic! It really .. takes you away doesn't it.
One of my favorite tracks from my favorite SOS album.
A true 60s mastrpiece! Corinne's voice is heavenly! Bravo! 🌷🌹🌹😘💕💕💕💕💕💖💖🌹🌹🌷
anyone else think the sax here sounds like 70s/80s Steely Dan?
anyway, what a gorgeous song. Can't get enough of it.
so amazing atmosphere in this song!
Sounds like a cross between Brasil '66 and Steely Dan's "Aja". Not that I'm complaining...
musica del alma , que bueno haber escuchado a Swing out sister por tantos años y la voz angelical de Corinne

...It reminds me of walking through the spring desert...swimming in the lush waves..lying on the warm sands at sunset...dreaming of you...
Always been my favorite band consistenly. Donte think there ever had a bad track.. Though the later albums with strings and orchestra later are much superior in my eyes.. This is riviera music at its best..
Always start with this song, every day, never bored!
From the first time I ever heard them perform,I was adicted.I have all of their recordings.
Same here. They are superb❤
Reminds me of my fav album Gilberto and Turrentine.

SOS are masterpiece makers... agree totally
YES this is what the world needs.
Now, if only we could hear this without having to endure the fakebook ad with the dopey music.
Corinne more than ever the world needs you
THE XILOPHONE!!!! OMG! GIVES THAT ATMOSPHERE! ... MASTERPIECE!
Spartacus melody for sure!
GREAT COMPOSITION. THE SAX WAS AMAZING ON THIS!!!
Sounds more like something from Pat Metheny. Very smooth from a highly talented group.
It reminds me of Rio de Janeiro in the sixties/seventies... don't know why .....very old fashioned with all those haunting voices hehehe Twilight Zonish ...
Mais uma música linda do SOS!
Obrigado SOS e Anisha!
Wow ... such a journey this song can put you on !!!
Correct, for some reason it reminds me of a plane landing....... walking through the air port. I guess it means 'happiness'. I could be wrong.
Yes! I think of a car driving…but I think it’s the same…it’s “motion WITH EXCITED EXPECTATION” like you’re GOING somewhere and the GETTING there is amazing all by itself. And of course, the wonderful promises of what is to come. I think you nailed it!
ESTA É UMA DAS MELHORES MÚSICAS JÁ FEITAS PELA HUMANIDADE.
It's as pretty as their instrumental, "Coney Island Man."

A very smooth and soft music.... make me glide....:-) Very nice choice.... Gratz
I love it too...it's the best song from WOLG.
SOS, The Music Makers No Doubt!
One of my road ready songs. On my way to the sea shore!
NIce INTRO TO Corrine and band
Brazilian influence, reminds me of some Walter Wanderly music but its SOS roots are strongly heard, too.
exactly right, walking through a new modern airport where everyone is busy getting to their destination
Ondas de colores musicales en "Swing out Sister"
BRAZIL is strong with this one! :-)
Yeah! Very very nice...
It´s beatifull piece.

Beautiful piece of art.

@samuelviolin Song reminds me of LA, a city I knew more as a child growing up, but not so much as an adult since I moved away when I went to college and never returned to stay.
Tem um pouquinho da alegria do Brasil, muito bom!!!!
belle ritm belle lirycs..
This song remembers me of the best time of my life, is the symbol of a dream come true. I love this song, but I always wondered what 'La Source' means, or how it got that name...
let's fly through the rainbow.....
I would say the same. it sounds like a brazilian influence that goes in some of SOS songs.
Sublime
Based on the theme from Spartacus! and wonderful it is
Hidden Gem

I Hear Jody ❤
Absolutely, brilliantly, uplifting and satisfying... Sounds Latin American to me - but what genre?
Glad I m Not the only one listening to
that masterpiece
Blatantly....nice though. Well spotted.
reading through the txts why are people comparing s.os. sounding like other groups?...can't we just appreciate s.o.s as a great band in their own right?❤
My only complaint is that this song isn't 30 minutes long...
This is the theme song to the Spartacus movie, isn't it?
David Newlee it’s sorta is and isn’t? I hear
You may need to get your hearing tested. It is a direct ripoff from the Love Theme from Spartacus.@@Dekard1977
How many bands can make a great video and song with no lyrics?
eugene check out Paul Hardcastle⛱
This song is da shit!
This song is scary close to MFSB LOVE HAS NO TIME AND PLACE,EVEN THE ALBUM COVER...?
I think I heard them borrow from MFSB on another song to .... The intro/outro to Ordinary People (The Living Return) may be a little inspired by Mysteries Of the World . Maybe some Lonnie Liston Smith too
:)
