    Excellent presentation my friend. Ive literally just made an order for this card and hopefully getting it in a couple of days. Performance is beyond excellent it seems, especially COD! wow! Nice to see that the temps never get hot either. One thing I wish you did was to show the power consumption in the overlay... I will be using the card for 1080p ultra settings in all games, so im assuming it wont use more than 194-220W. cheers

      @ThisBytesForYou  Год назад +1

      You should be good, using less that 230Watts as that is the TBP, but Sapphire recommends you have at least a 700Watt and I recommend nothing less. I have my system specs in the description if you want to check them out.
      At 1080P, you will be CPU restricted, what CPU are you using?
      The temps are nice, but it does help to have low ambient temperatures as well. My house during this video was at about 66°F. The cooler the air on the outside, the cooler the air inside. If you are interested, I have the full review linked up: ruclips.net/video/fUSyT9nEP2o/видео.html
      Also, thanks so much for your kind words and support, it means the world to me and I am so very happy you enjoyed it. The card definitly is great and again, I am so happy you enjoyed it.

      @@ThisBytesForYou A few months ago I had already bought the B550 and 5800X3D for very good deals, and so i decided i would pair them with the 7700 XT. I also bought a corsair RM750X psu as i was told its one of the best interms of realiability. I know this build may be overkill for 1080p but im in a state where im hoping I wont have to upgrade any time soon in the near future. Im very comfortable playing in 1080p and happy with the picture, while also enjoying a high refresh rate experience. It's the main reason I went for the 5800X3D rather than something like 5600X or 5700.
      I will say thank you again as you were one of the few youtubers who made a detailed review on this sapphire card. the other 7700XT brands, including the nitro series from sapphire itself were way too expensive for me. they were listed 40-50 dollars more than the pulse, which is insane. all that for 3 fan cooler which clearly the chip itself doesnt seem to get too hot for the 7700 series this year..
      I hope we see you test this card in other games that werent listed in the coming weeks, it was a great presentation

      ahhh ok, good stuff my friend. Thats a great processor and this card should do you right for a bit.
      The cost difference between the Pulse and Nitro are due to the Nitro having better cooling and RGB LED's. The cooling is important if you live in a hot house, but the RGB, meh not a biggy. As for more reviews on this specific card, sadly this was my last, as with all Sapphire cards I had to return the card, I just sent it back yesterday, sorry bud but I hope I have helped.

      well, with many manufacturers you can, not so much with Sapphire, I try to get them to let me keep them for this very purpose and support, but they don't see that, but they themselves have great support. Cheers my friend and thanks so much for your support and understanding@@Ladioz

    Nicely presented, so little in reviews of RX 7700 XT compared to the RX 7800 XT, mainly because of price point, the price gap closes and the RX 7700 XT is sold at a more reasonable hopefully $400 or lower in price, I plan on picking one up, thank you for your effort and time in making this 😃

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  Год назад +2

      yeah, the MSRP is only $50 but in the real world, the difference is much higher, so I thought it would be great to show something more realistic. This card is about 450, the 7800 is another $120, thats not pocket change and it draws more power, so it will get hotter but, longevity wise, it probably is better to get a 7800, I just dont have one to review.
      All in all I think the 7700 is a GREAT card, let me know what you end up going with, and thanks so much for your kind words and support, it means the world to me.

    Do you think a good quality 600w gold power supply can withstand an RX 7700 XT and a Ryzen 5700x3d?

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  3 месяца назад +1

      Sapphire has a minimum requirement of 700Watts, you could leave your 600Watts and risk blue screens, shut downs or worse, I think if you are paying for a nice card, pay for a decent power supply, if you buy a nice one up front, it will work on your next card, and you next, I have been using 1200 and 1000Watts for over 15 years, the 1000Watts are about 5 years old, maybe older, and they have seen SOOOOOOOOOO many cards, the 1200, I gave to a friend, and its seen sooooooo many upgrades, spend more now, save tons later. This is one of the 3 I use every time, off of my Amazon affiliate link: geni.us/01x0

      @@ThisBytesForYou The techpower up recommends a 550w power supply for the RX 7700 XT, that's why I asked, the RTX 3070 consumes more or the same as an RX 7700 XT and the recommended is 550w.

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  3 месяца назад +1

      The sapphire states they require 700 watts and it's based off of a fully built system, techpower up is giving you their recommendation off of a build they build. Sapphire tests extreme to make sure there is no issue when you build. That still recommend at least that if not higher so you don't have to keep buying power supplies everytime you upgrade. You already made up your mind though before you came.

    I am confused. Why are there two temperatures on gpu?

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  3 месяца назад +1

      Theres the GPU temperature then there is Hot Spot temperature.
      The terms "GPU temperature" and "hot spot" are different spots, though similar in a sense.
      GPU Temperature:
      The general temperature of the GPU core (the graphical processing unit of the graphics card).
      It's usually an average or a single temperature reading from a specific sensor placed on the GPU die.
      It's a good indication of the overall thermal state of the GPU and is commonly reported by monitoring software.
      This is useful for understanding the general thermal condition of the GPU and ensuring it operates within safe limits. If this temperature is within a normal range, the GPU is likely functioning well.
      Hot Spot Temperature:
      Also known as "Junction Temperature" or "Max Temperature," this is the highest temperature recorded at any point on the GPU die.
      GPUs can have multiple sensors distributed across the die, the hot spot temperature represents the highest reading from these sensors.
      The hot spot temperature can be significantly higher than the average or general GPU temperature because it identifies the hottest part of the GPU, which can be critical for preventing thermal damage and ensuring optimal performance.
      It's good for identifying potential thermal issues that might not be apparent from the average temperature alone. A high hot spot temperature can indicate poor cooling, issues with thermal paste or pads, or localized overheating, which could lead to thermal throttling or damage if not addressed.

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  4 месяца назад +1

      A minute and a half of gaming at various resolution might make it a little difficult to show real world performance plus it's me paying for all the games and that adds another layer of complexity, not to mention the time it takes. I'll look into it though

    Hello sir!
    Im trying to build a pc for cs2. Im a pro gamer and i dont know if to choose from nvidia or amd or intel or amd idk..
    Is the 7700xt good for cs2 or to choose a 4070 idk about that
    The pc is not for cs2 only just some another games like resident evil 4,cyberpunk etc.
    What do you recomend sir ?
    Have a nice day!

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  Год назад +1

      I think you would be fine with either, the 7700XT will eeek out a little more performance than the 4070 and save you a few dollars. With the highest refresh rate you can muster up, along with Hypr RX, Freesync and FSR.... you will do amazing, good stuff my friend and let me know what you end up going with and how it works out for you. For a new card, especially switching from NVIDIA to AMD, I recommend a clean install of windows, for the most performance, but a clean sweep of the drivers like I show you in the install video will do well also: ruclips.net/video/Ww_MEUozyYM/видео.htmlsi=iKMksk2UTiHLrvlX

      It gets warm if your ambient temperature is warm, if you have good cooling and low ambient temperature your card will be cool. Yes you can take, once you make a payment to your local retailer for the card, it's yours for the taking, nice the way things work right.

      this particular graphics card requires a 700Watt, so you are good, though I only buy 1000Watts, I have 3, 2 of them I have had for about 5 years and the other for over 15, you buy a big one once, you don't have to keep buying power supplies each time a new card comes out, it makes the card cost a lot more.
